Planned Parenthood Pulls $85 Million In Profit On Abortion Sales

Since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973 over 50 million abortions have been performed in the United States. According to the CDC’s most recent date in 2009 there were around 800,000 abortions performed in our country. Nearly 40% of those abortions take place at Planned Parenthood, which made over $100 million in abortion sales and earned $85 million in profits according to their 2011-2012 annual report. Most of those abortions took place in inner cities, targeting black and hispanic children. Yet we’re not allowed to discuss Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, and her  racism. We’re supposed to bury our head and pretend abortion is about women’s health. In reality, it’s about murder and racism.

The conservative media was outraged over the Kermit Gosnell trial. Gosnell was  ultimately convicted of murdering several babies born via botched abortions. He snapped their necks shortly after birth. Conservatives weren’t just outraged over the murdering of botched aborted babies. We understood that had these babies still been in the womb Planned Parenthood would defend to the death the right of Gosnell to snap their necks. No matter how much the left wants to pretend that an unborn baby (which the media arrogantly dismisses as a “fetus”) is just a clump of cells, the reality is that it’s a separate and distinct human life.

From the founding of Planned Parenthood the goal was to reduce the number of minorities and other “undesirables.” Sanger and the Eugenics crowd of the early 20th century made that abundantly clear. It should come as no surprise that most abortion clinics are in minority neighborhoods. Gosnell’s clients were almost all black. In New York City, 41% of all minority conceptions end in an abortion. Killing black and Hispanic babies is a multimillion dollar industry sold to us as women’s health. Planned Parenthood alone pulls in 9 figures on abortion sales while turning an $85 million profit. They claim abortion is only 3% of their business but it directly correlates to their profits.

The left is forever accusing conservatives of being racist and hating minorities. Yet it is conservatives who have been defending the right of black and Hispanic babies to live since Roe was decided 40 years ago. If conservatives hate blacks so much why wouldn’t we support their death via abortion? The fact is that throughout the past 150 years it has been progressives that have advocated racism, not conservatives. We support the right of blacks, Hispanics and all racial and ethnic minorities to live their lives free of government intrusion. This includes the right to be born without state sponsored or state supported abortion threatening minority lives.

Gosnell and all the other grotesque abortion clinics show us a number of things. First, these people don’t care about women’s health. Planned Parenthood forever complains about back alley abortions if Roe is overturned. Yet they support Gosnell and the legion of dirty abortion clinics out there. Second, Gosnell highlights for us that abortion targets minorities for death. Third, for all Obama and the left claim they want abortions “safe and rare” the result is neither. With over 800,000 abortions in 2009 and 50 million since 1973 it isn’t rare. With Gosnell’s operating legally, even protected by states supportive of abortion or fearful of Planned Parenthood political reprisals, it isn’t even safe. Of course, abortion has never been safe for babies, it always results in their death.

Justice Scalia Right About Voting Rights Act

The left is up in arms over comments Justice Scalia during oral arguments on a case involving the Voting Rights Act. The Act was passed in 1965 and was intended to last only five years. It basically required southern states to petition the Federal government before making changes to voting laws. In 1965 it was perhaps understandable legislation as the intent was to guarantee blacks the right to vote, which southern states had up to that point tended to deny. In 2013 the south is hardly the hot bed of Jim Crow legalized racism that it was in 1965. As Justice Roberts asked during arguments, is the south more racist than the north? The answer to that is no.

One of the issues with the Voting Rights Act is that it requires states to make majority minority districts, generally via gerrymandering. Scalia chimed in on this suggesting “whenever a society adopts racial entitlements, it is very difficult to get out of them through the normal political processes.” The left is enraged over this comment. Justice Sotomayor asked one of the attorney’s arguing the case whether voting was a racial entitlement.

Generally speaking the left is following Sotomayor’s apparent line of argument, outraged that Scalia would call voting a racial entitlement. Except of course Scalia made no such argument. He’s merely pointing out that creating an entitlement to a majority minority congressional district as well as other voting entitlements for racial minorities are politically difficult to eliminate. He never once suggested that voting itself was a racial entitlement. The problem here is that when conservatives speak liberals hear something entirely different than what is being said. They’ve been taught to root out hidden racism. They’re like Communists in the East German Stasi, constantly looking for the hidden enemy that doesn’t exist.

In 2013 can anyone cite a single example of any American in this country being denied the right to vote because of their race? Can anyone cite an example of a single American being denied the right to register to vote based on their race? If not, why do we need the Voting Rights Act and all of its Federal regulations? You might argue that the Act is aimed at the racist south. But the north has far more segregation and racial animosity than the south. Just go to metro Detroit, Cleveland or Chicago sometime, there are clear racial boundaries. Those areas aren’t subject to the Act, the south is. Indiana, a state that elected KKK Governor’s in the 20′s, has never been subject to the Act. Is Indiana less racist than Alabama?

Scalia’s point is perfectly valid. He’s not arguing that voting itself is a racial preference. He’s arguing that creating special rules, regulations and districts aimed at minorities is a racial preference. Whether that means the Voting Rights Act is going to be overturned remains to be seen. Odds are either Kennedy or Roberts will vote against overturning the law. That said, pointing out the 2013 reality of the Voting Rights Act isn’t racism. Scalia isn’t a racist for calling the Act what it is. The left is intentionally mischaracterizing what he said for political gain. Or perhaps they’re mischaracterizing it because they are incapable of listening when a conservative speaks.

Why Are Race Relations Worse Under Obama?

President Obama entered office in 2009 declaring himself a post-racial President. He’s been anything but. He and his surrogates spent his first term accusing the Tea Party of racism, without a shred of evidence. Mere opposition to Obama’s policies have been decried as racism. Opposition to Susan Rice who lied about the Benghazi attack is declared racist. During the campaign the left declared common words like Chicago and apartment had evil, racist connotations. Enjoying white meat instead of dark meat on Thanksgiving is a sign of racism and white guilt according to Slate. A school in Oregon declared peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were racist. The races are more separate today than they were four years ago.

Part of the problem is Barack Obama. He’s spent the better part of his term calling Republicans the enemy. His surrogates have spent a great deal of time calling the GOP a white party while insinuating that it wants to destroy minorities. The division begins with the President. From there his policies have further divided the country. Black unemployment is the highest in the country, over 14%. Instead of blaming Obama, blacks blame Republicans because after all we’re the “enemy.” The black middle class has been completely destroyed in the last four years, again it isn’t the President’s fault it’s the mythical “enemy.” You have to go back to Jim Crow to see an administration where the gap between black and white incomes widens. Again, the “enemy’s” fault.

What better enemy to blame than the Tea Party, which did little more than oppose Obama’s policies. To listen to the left, you’d think conservatives had never opposed a Democrat President before. The only reason why the Tea Party existed was because Obama is black. Of course to believe that you’d have to ignore the Clinton administration. You’ll recall the GOP won 54 new seats in the House in 1994, winning a majority for the first time in 40 years. You’ll also recall the GOP impeached Clinton for lying under oath. Clinton was detested by conservatives, arguably more so than Obama. After all, Obama hasn’t yet been impeached.

Declaring preferences for white turkey meat and PB&J sandwiches racist is nothing more than the rantings of the insane. Though sadly the latter controls education. During the last four years the word Chicago has been deemed racist. Presumably Chicago as racial epithet as to do with Chicago politics, particularly the smear campaign Obama engaged in. But of course to believe the term Chicago is racist would require a suspension of the facts. All of Obama’s main Chicago advisors are white. The Daley machine is predominately white and Roman Catholic. In fact in Chicago politics black and white have historically not gotten along well. The boys at MSNBC and the Obama campaign had a laundry list of “racist” code words, all of which were equally as ridiculous.

Obama hasn’t brought the country together, he’s separated us. Intentionally so. Obama needs to have an enemy to demagogue. That enemy is the GOP, which he consistently insinuates is racist. The fact though is that race relations were better under Bush and Clinton. Black unemployment, while higher than white unemployment, wasn’t substantially higher. The black middle class grew and thrived. Today blacks are worse off than they were four years ago and sadly they’ve bought into the lie that not only is the GOP racist but they’re to blame as well. As long as minorities are led by people like Obama who tell them white people are the enemy and the cause of all their woe we will never have positive race relations. The situation will, unfortunately, only get worse the next four years.

Firing Obama Isn’t Racism, It’s Equality

Today’s Rasmussen poll shows Romney up 50-46., in swing states Rasmussen reports Romney is up 50-45. Those polls were conducted prior to the debate last night. Focus groups from last nights debate seemed to indicate that undecided voters are breaking towards Romney. While slim majorities believe Obama won the debate last night, insta-polls indicate Romney leads overwhelmingly on the most important issue: The economy. Those polls also indicate that he’s tied with Obama in appearing capable of being Commander in Chief. We’re hitting the last two weeks before the election, we’ve had the debates and it appears that on some level undecided voters are breaking towards Romney.

So what is the Democrats response to this? Chris Matthews suggests its racism. To believe that a nation that elected a black President would suddenly become racist and fire him is a little bit hard to believe. In 2008 the people who voted for John McCain were more or less entrenched Republicans who were never going to vote for a Democrat no matter who he or she was. Obama won independents and this year at least for the moment it appears that independents are breaking towards Romney. Does that mean that these 2008 Obama voters now voting for Romney are suddenly racists? It’s just a touch hard to believe. In fact, by voting to fire the President independents are holding Obama to the same standard they held Carter and Bush 41 to. That’s not racism, it’s equality.

We’re two weeks out from the election and it seems clear the Democrats are getting desperate. These people really believed that Obama would put away Romney at the first debate. He obviously didn’t and they’ve been in a panic ever since. Obama wasn’t able to win decisively in the other two debates and thus he hasn’t been able to stop Romney’s momentum. Shocked by these developments, the left is now going to resort to name calling and baseless accusations. Racism is likely just the tip of the iceberg. Next up they’ll want to talk about the racist history of the Mormon Church.

Playing the race card during the last two weeks would be the height of desperation for the Democrats. It would also likely cost Obama the election if he hasn’t cost the election for himself already. We fired Carter in 1980 because the economy stunk and the country looked like fools abroad. We fired Bush 41 in 1992 because he raised taxes and the economy stunk. It would hardly be shocking if in 2012 we fired Obama because unemployment is at 7.8% or higher, we have added $5 trillion in new debt over the last four years and middle class families have lost $4,000 in real income. Couple all of that with Obamacare, which raises taxes and remains unpopular and it should come as no surprise that the country would consider firing Obama. Why would voters treat Obama any differently than Carter or Bush 41?

The left is going to spend the next two weeks crying racism, trying to scare undecided voters into voting for Obama lest they be called racists. It won’t work. If Obama wins, it’s because he’s able to get his base out to vote. If he loses it will have nothing to do with the color of his skin. An Obama defeat will have everything to do with his poor performance as President and the failure of his policies to spur economic growth. Race plays no role here. Our nation is willing to elect a black man as President, 2008 proved that for all of eternity. In 2012 the country has the opportunity to fire a black President because he just didn’t do a good job. It’s called equality. It works both ways.

Revealed Obama Speech Does Nothing For Romney

The Daily Caller and Sean Hannity  have released a video of Barack Obama from 2007. In the video Obama is seen giving a speech to a group of black pastors and churchmen in what can best be described as a very bad black accent. In any event, Obama attacks the Bush administration for its handling of Hurricane Katrina. He cries racism because the Stafford Act wasn’t waived for portions of the hurricane recovery despite the fact that the Federal government had already spent $110 billion on Katrina recovery, including a no strings attacked $7 billion the Feds had given New Orleans just two weeks before the speech. Compare that to the $20 billion “white” New York was given by the Feds.

Obama’s purpose is clear, he wants blacks to believe the Republicans hate black Americans and favor whites. He attacks building highways in the suburbs and wants businesses in “our” neighborhoods invested in by the government. Apparently the suburbs are white and “our” neighborhoods are black. In short, he’s race baiting. It’s in start contrast to his 2008 post-racial speech given in June where he called for racial unity. Here he’s talking about a very divided America in which he’s going funnel money from white people to black people. Or in light of what he’s done as President, he’s going to use the black community for votes and then never funnel any money to them. After all, black unemployment is above 14%.

The Democrats and media response has been interesting. Around a half an hour before the speech was even released more than a dozen “journalists” attacked the release of speech before ever seeing it. Sam Stein, Nate Silver, Walter Shapiro, Jake Sherman, dismissed this before it was ever released. It’s absolutely fascinating to see how transparent these people are in defending Obama, even if it means attacking a video that they haven’t even seen yet. Apparently if Matt Drudge and Tucker Carlson are involved it must not be legitimate. They’re uninterested in the 40 minute speech, all of which is available online now. They pretend like it’s already been reported on when it was only partially reported on. The truth is out now.

Does it matter? No. The speech isn’t going to change things in this election. Sorry guys but what happened 5 years ago isn’t relevant anymore. McCain needed this tape in 2008. Now that Obama is President, no one is going to care about nonsense like this. If anything they’re going to accuse Republicans of racism because that’s what the left always does when Obama is attacked. They’ll defend Obama’s ridiculous fake accent and pretend like anyone who says anything about it is a racist. They’ll attack Bush on Katrina and insist that his response is racist. Why? Well, because it is because they say it is. In short, we cannot win with these people. One wonders why we’re bothering.

Mitt Romney cannot be happy about the release of this speech. It does nothing to further his cause the day before the first debate. No one is going to vote for Romney because Obama said crazy things in 2007. On the other hand the fall out from this might energize Obama’s base. Look at those racist Republicans, we’ll have to vote for Obama now is what the Democrats are going to tell people. It’s nonsense but that’s how they’re going to treat this. So I have to ask Hannity, Drudge and Carlson this: What exactly is the point?

Media: GOP Uses Super Secret Racist Code Language

The Republican narrative this week is that Obama had failed as President and it’s time for a change. The media narrative is that the Republicans are a bunch of racists using super secret code words. Whether we should be outrage or rejoicing remains to be seen. No doubt the accusation of racism is an outrage. But if the left has gotten to the point where the only way they can defend Obama’s failed record is to call everyone in the GOP a racist, that may be cause for rejoicing. After all, such an argument shows everyone with even a little sense the failure of Obama.

The media claimed everything at the GOP Convention was racist. Rick Santorum’s hand’s speech was racist. The word Chicago is racist. Indeed, no one can suggest we send Obama back to Chicago because obviously only black people live there so that’s racist. We’ll pretend Obama doesn’t live there and we’ll have to forget about all the Democrats wanting to send George W. Bush back to Texas. Did I mention that Rick Santorum’s hand speech? The overplayed metaphor is super secret code language about black people on welfare. Yep, Salon made that argument. Why does the left always assume that people on welfare are black? Don’t they know the majority of welfare recipients are white?

Not to be outdone by Salon, Ron Fournier of National Journal breaks down Republicans super secret code words. Fournier went back to his hometown of Detroit and talked to one of his old pals who lives in Macomb County. He takes his white friend out to breakfast, which itself is a sign of racism because we all know how cliche white people like breakfast. Fournier loves to take his white friend out for breakfast because it gives him the opportunity to break down super secret racist code words which Fournier then writes about during Republican Conventions. That’s right, he’s pulled this stunt before.

Unemployment in the city of Detroit is 30%, which Fournier’s white friend thought was 40%. What a racist! His friend points out some of the major problems with welfare. It breeds laziness and dependance. People cheat the system and as a taxpayer he finds it outrageous. He’s a fireman in the city of Detroit, so not surprisingly he largely comes into contact with black welfare recipients. He never suggests all blacks are lazy, he likely knows better in light of the fact that he works in the city of Detroit. If 40% in his mind are unemployed, that means 60% are hard working and doing the right thing. Why we should punish this guy as a racist when the overwhelming majority of welfare recipients he’s come into contact with are black is beyond anyone’s understanding. I’ve come into contact with welfare cheats of all races, they’re one in the same. They all pull the same stunts, they’re all lazy. The white ones are exactly the same as the black ones.

But of course Fournier extends his friend’s alleged racism to the entire Republican Party. You see, the GOP uses his friend’s super secret breakfast code language. Thus when Romney spoke last night in code, because of Fournier I now know what a racist he is. Do you see the absurdity here? Nearly 45% of the country religiously votes Republican. That means not only is 45% of the country racist but it means we all know the super secret code language. If we all know the code language, why are we speaking in code? If we know the code language and Fournier knows the code language, don’t you think everyone knows the code? Again, why speak in code?

I suppose when Chicago is a racial epithet and having black and Hispanic speakers is a sign of racism then it makes perfect sense that Republicans would speak in super secret code. Sure, why not? Anything goes with the left. They’ll say anything to attack Republicans no matter how absurd. The intellectual bankruptcy of the left has been on full display in their racist attacks on the GOP. They’re losing the argument, they cannot defend Obama’s results so they’re going to attack the opponent as racist. It isn’t going to work. No one hears the super secret code but racists on the left who desperately want to hold onto their power. The sad thing is that the media is the one pushing all of this, showing their bias once and for all.

Racism Abounds At MSNBC, Left Afraid Of Losing Minorities

The left-wing media and the Democrats have a narrative about the Republican Party. That narrative is that the GOP is racist and sexist, devoid of blacks, Hispanics and women. They insist that we Republicans speak in a super secret racist langauge wherein a “welfare queen” must be black despite the fact that everyone knows the majority of people on welfare are white. Chris Matthews insists that everything the GOP does is cloaked in racism and super secret racist innuendo. The left has always projected its worst qualities onto Republicans. It is the left that hears “welfare queen” and immediately thinks black. But somehow their assumption isn’t racist.

Unable to cite any actual examples of institutional racism in the Republican Party the left-wing media has simply decided to make it up. NBC offers an array of speech clips from the first night of the GOP Convention. Not one of them is of the minorities that spoke, including Ted Cruz and Artur Davis who both gave terrific speeches. Maybe NBC didn’t have access to the clips because MSNBC actually cut away from coverage every single time a minority spoke last night. NBC and MSNBC clearly don’t want people to see that there are in fact minorities in the Republican Party. One wonders why.

Not to be out done, the LA Times claims the GOP is trying to but a “brown face” on a white party. NBC’s Chuck Todd attacked the Republican Party for putting minorities in the forefront. Throughout the day and week we’re likely to see more articles and more ridiculous statements coming from the left-wing media. They have a narrative about blacks and other minorities and a narrative about the Republican Party. Anything that goes against that narrative will be attacked, mocked or simply removed from the record in the case of NBC.

There is nothing about ones skin color or ethnic background that would require them to join one party or the other. There is nothing inherently liberal about black skin or a Hispanic ethnic background. The left has forever demanded a collective mindset for minorities, even if such a collective mindset goes against individual interests. In order to maintain the status quo, minorities have to be kept afraid of the GOP. The left has to lie about us, call us racists and such in order to maintain their racial and ethnic monopolies. That’s why NBC edits out minority voices from the GOP Convention, blacks and Hispanics aren’t allowed to see that the GOP isn’t waiting to lynch minority speakers.

The fact though is that the Republican Party is the party for blacks and Hispanics who love individual freedom. It’s the party for the millions of minority small business owners. It is the Republican Party that wants to cut red tape and costly regulations that hurt small business owners. We’re the party for young minorities who dream of making it big and enjoying the fruits of their success. We’re the party for minorities who hold on to traditional family values and faith. We’re the party for minorities who want educational freedom. In fact, the Republican Party is the party for people of all races and ethnic backgrounds who own small businesses, believe in traditional family values and who dream of working hard and achieving the American Dream.

The left-wing media will not tolerate minority Republicans and will attack both them and our party for their existence. One wonders why the left doesn’t want minorities to be able to think for themselves. One also wonders how it isn’t racist to cut away from the GOP convention every time a minority speaks. The left is afraid of losing its monopoly on race based voting blocks. They should be because the more blacks and other minorities see that the GOP isn’t racist the more likely they are to join us. There are millions of minority small businesses and millions of church going minorities with the same family values as most of the Republican Party. The media and the left are clearly afraid and are willing to stoop to overt racism in order to hide the truth.

Touré Neblett Says Romney Engaging In “Niggerization” Of Obama

The cries of racism shall begin in earnest. MSNBC’s Touré Neblett declared that Romney’s recent fired up speech in response to Biden’s chains line was the “niggerization” of Obama. Neblett went out of his way to say that he didn’t use the term lightly before using the term lightly. Apparently we’ve all been trained to fear angry black men, as though angry white men are something no one should fear. The left views everything through the prism of race to the point of absurdity. Neblett’s declaration of “niggerization” is absolutely absurd. But of course we’re not allowed to call Neblett out because he’s black and only black people really “understand.”

Everybody knows about Joe Biden’s absurd statement about Republicans who are “gonna put y’all back in chains.” The first black Governor since reconstruction, Douglas Wilder, criticized Biden’s racially charged statement. There were plenty of other people on the left disturbed by Biden’s comments, which were made to a largely black audience. Romney responded by telling team Obama to take their campaign of division and hate back to Chicago. Apparently in Neblett’s mind this is the “niggerization” of Obama. In reality, this is just politics and has nothing to do with race whatsoever.

Let’s be up front, Joe Biden wouldn’t have used such racially charged rhetoric unless he had a black man to hide behind. But for Biden’s ridiculous comments, Romney wouldn’t have made his. But let’s assume that Biden made some equally absurd, borderline offensive comment without the racial undertones. Let’s further assume that Obama is white. Would anyone have thought anything of Romney’s response? Sure Republicans would be excited to see their candidate get feisty but would anyone on the left think anything of it? The back and forth this week is pretty typical in a Presidential election, there wasn’t anything particularly noteworthy about it with the exception of Biden’s racial undertone.

But Neblett doesn’t want to talk about Biden stoking the flames of racial prejudice. He wants to accuse Republicans of hating black people. So he lightly uses the term “niggerization” as though Romney had some sort of racist motive for attacking the Obama campaign. You can tell the Democrats are getting scared when they start accusing everyone they disagree with of racism. Obama is losing, he’s focused on tax returns, Biden is trying to scare blacks and Obama media surrogates like Neblett are baselessly reading racism into everything Republicans are  doing. Meanwhile the public is concerned about jobs, the economy and the national debt. Romney is largely focused on that while Obama and his gang are focused on everything but.

Obama’s pathway to victory is to scare people into believing Romney is a bad guy. The tax return nonsense and all the innuendo associated with it is proof. Obama is still talking about Romney’s tax returns because he can’t talk about the state of the economy. The left-wing media knows this, including race baitors such as Neblett. Neblett has made a career out of accusing white people of racism and reading racism into everything. Thus he lightly accuses Romney of trying to create the “niggerization” of Obama while he completely ignores Biden’s blatant racially charged comments. The ends justify the means and in this case they’ll do anything to paint Romney as evil in order to ensure an Obama victory. If it means accusing him of racism without the slightest shred of evidence, in Neblett’s world that’s how it works.

Detroit A Warning For Our Nation

Detroit is a classic left-wing city. A once great American city, it has become an absolute nightmare thanks to liberal policies. It’s lost more than half of its population in the last 60 years. Large portions of the city are abandoned. So much is abandoned that neighborhoods have become a dumping ground for the dead. Half of the streetlights in the city don’t work. A large portion of the lights date to the 1920′s. Beautiful buildings in downtown Detroit are completely abandoned and have been for decades. The people of the city just don’t seem to care anymore.

What happened to Detroit? It would be very easy to blame the racist administration of former Mayor Coleman Young. But white flight from the city began before he became mayor. His administration though can be thanked for whites not coming back to the city like they did in places like Cleveland in the 90′s. In fact, Coleman Young can be blamed for implementing any number of failed liberal policies. Make no mistake Coleman Young laid the groundwork for the racist extremists who occupy Detroit’s city council today. But Young wasn’t alone in his racism and liberal extremism.

Under Coleman Young Detroit decided it was going to be a liberal black city, to the exclusion of all other races. By kicking out everyone with money, they kicked out all of their tax revenue. By making excuses for crime, they turned Detroit into a crime ridden dump. When they wanted whites to return under Dennis Archer in the 90′s, few were willing to come back because of the previous couple decades and a city council that remained racist. The problem though wasn’t Young or the city council. They’re the focal point, the headline makers. The real problem though is the people who keep electing these racist liberals.

The issue in Detroit isn’t that it’s overwhelmingly majority black. The problem is that the church in Detroit has failed. Most of the men have nothing to do with church in Detroit, which is its own problem. The church itself is dominated by racist churches such as Obama’s church in Chicago pastored by Jeremiah Wright. Beyond that, Detroit has a church that will not discuss sin in any meaningful way. The combination is toxic. The result is that Detroit is crime ridden, people don’t care about each other and the government quite openly hates white people.

As such we can see what socialism does to a city just by looking at Detroit. People have lost the will to do things on their own. They expect government to do everything for them. They don’t care about their fellow man, they expect government to do that for them. When government doesn’t do a good job, its white people’s fault or the state government’s fault. It’s always someone else, it’s never the leftist policies or race politics that have dominated Detroit for half a century. Look at the pictures on Forgotten Detroit, read about the city government failures and read about the frozen man whose legs stuck out of the ice for weeks and no one cared.

There is hope for Detroit but it does not lie in the racist socialism that has dominated the city for years. It starts with the church returning to Biblical Christianity. It begins with a repudiation of the racism that has dominated Detroit both under black and white governments. It requires self reliance rather than reliance on government. If the people of Detroit stop relying on government, it won’t matter as much that the city fails at providing even basic government services. Detroit is a stark warning about the future if we adopt socialism, drive business out and embrace liberal racism. We must pray that the nation looks at Detroit and chooses a different path.

Why Does The Nation Know Trayvon Martin?

George Zimmerman was charged with 2nd degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin. Why anyone but Martin’s family should really care about this is highly questionable. The leftist race hustlers have made a deal out of this case far beyond what it is worth. Zimmerman is hispanic, but the media has been calling him a “white hispanic” because one of his parents is white. I suppose President Obama is a white black since his mother is white. Race is really irrelevant to this case, but the left has turned this into an unnecessary racial battle.

The left-wing media has played a substantial role in setting up Martin’s death as a racial hate crime. NBC edited Zimmerman’s 9-11 call so that it appeared he said “the guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.” In reality Zimmerman was asked by the 911 dispatcher whether Martin was white, black or hispanic to which Zimmerman replied “he looks black.” In short, NBC’s edit inflamed black racial hatred towards whites, furthering their political cause. NBC has since fired the producer who edited the tape but the damage has already been done.

Not to be out done, CNN “enhanced’ the 911 tape and determined that Zimmerman called Martin a coon. Once NBC got nailed for their selective edit, CNN ‘enhanced’ the tape a second time and decided that Zimmerman didn’t call Martin a coon. Of course the damage had already been done as thousands took to the streets wearing those ridiculous hoodies believing Zimmerman targeted Martin because he was black and called him a coon. In fact, Zimmerman had done none of those things.

Let’s talk about the hoodie for a second. What people wear affects how we view them. If you look like a thug, no matter your race, people are going to treat you accordingly. Likewise, if you’re dressed in a pair of trousers and a polo shirt, you’re going to be treated differently no matter your race. Martin was dressed in a thuggish manner, in keeping with the image he was portraying of himself on Facebook and Twitter. The Uniform Crime Report of 2009 shows that among people 18 or younger, blacks were charged with 58 percent of murder and non-negligent manslaughter, 67 percent of robberies, 42 percent of aggravated assaults and 43 percent of auto thefts. These stats of course don’t mean Martin was up to no good. But they do tell us why Zimmerman may have believed Martin was up to something, especially considering Martin’s purported erratic behavior.

The media of course isn’t interested in any of this. They also aren’t interested in black on black crime or black on white crime. They aren’t interested in the old white Tulsa couple who were were attacked in their by a black man last month, the wife died while the husband suffered a broken jaw. They aren’t interested in the Kansas City white 13 year old who was doused with gasoline which two black kids then lit and declared “you get what you deserve white boy.” The media has a narrative, that being that whites are racists and blacks are victims. That’s what Trayvon Martin’s case makes headlines and stories about the 92.5% of black murders which occur at the hands of other blacks are not.

Let’s look at whose leading these protests. We know about the typical race hustlers but does anyone wonder why SEIU is handing out Trayvon Martin posters and organizing protests? Why is a service employee union interested in this case? These people don’t care about Trayvon Martin, they care about creating chaos and creating divisions. They’re leftists who want revolution and are organizing for it. Trayvon Martin is a convenient rallying point to go along with Occupy Wall Street. Keep in mind, SEIU’s Stephen Lerner is at the forefront of the racial movement which has co-opted the Trayvon Martin case.

People outside of Sanford Florida should have no knowledge about this case. That we do is the result of race hustling, worse it’s race hustling on a lie. Zimmerman isn’t a racist, he’s not wearing a stupid white sheet and lynching black kids. We have murders everyday in America, in Philadelphia and Chicago alone they’re averaging one a day. The overwhelming majority are black. The Martin case is sad, but it’s no cause for the entire country to be up in arms. It’s no cause for protest. For lack of a better phrase, it’s a run of the mill murder case that’s perhaps only different because the defendant has a good shot at winning. That it has turned into a nationwide story ought to make you wonder why. Dig a little deeper and it becomes clear. The left is using Trayvon Martin to further an agenda. That they’re furthering it on a lie doesn’t matter to them. It ought to matter to you though.
