Electricity Prices On The Rise Thanks To Obama

In 2008 candidate Obama brazenly told the San Francisco Chronicle that he wanted energy prices to skyrocket. He specifically said that he wanted to bankrupt anyone who attempted to build a new coal power plant. Obama wasn’t able to pass Cap & Trade legislation which would have aided in his effort to bankrupt the coal industry. But we should never forget that Obama much prefers to do things unilaterally and in this case he’s done just that. Obama has created new regulations which have caused a number of coal plants which produce electricity for many Americans to go offline. He’s achieved his purposes without Congressional action.

The result for Americans? Coal powered electricity is down from 44.6% last year to just 36% this year, all thanks to Obama’s new regulations. There has been no increase in output from other electric sources, be they nuclear, wind or water to offset the loss of coal. As such, prices are set to rise, especially in areas where there were more forced coal plant closings. Northern Ohio in particular has been extremely hard hit by coal plant closings thanks to Obama. Unfortunately most in Ohio won’t notice it until their electric prices increase substantially after the election.

None of this should be a surprise to anyone who actually paid attention to what Obama said he was going to do in 2008. But for the many Americans who went along with hope and change and the novelty of electing a black president you have to wonder if they knew massive electricity price increases were part of the ‘fundamental transformation’ of the nation Obama talked about. Likely not. These electric price increases are 100% thanks to Obama and his policies. Electricity prices were on the downward swing when he entered office because of new technology (not green).

With the substantial increase in electricity prices, you have to wonder what energy industry that Americans rely on Obama will attack next. Gas prices have doubled since he took office, so that’s off the list unless he wants them to double again. How about natural gas? Natural gas prices have plummeted over the last decade thanks to shale drilling. The left originally loved shale drilling because it’s clean and non-intrusive. Of course when natural gas prices dropped the left turned on natural gas and now they complain about shale drilling. Perhaps this is next on Obama’s anti-energy crusade.

President Obama is the most anti-energy President we have ever had. He bragged before he got elected about how he was going to destroy the coal industry and make prices increase. So far he’s done just that. Obama alone is responsible for the increase in your electricity bill. It is Obama and his regulators who have closed coal plants throughout the east and midwest. It is Obama who wants to bankrupt coal companies. It is Obama who bragged that energy prices were going to increase. It is Obama who you can blame when the electric bill increases, just like you can blame him for the price of gas for your car. It is Obama who refuses to drill, it is Obama who refuses to sign off on Keystone etc.

Obama hates energy. He hates the wealth that energy has created for this country. If he isn’t an Earth worshipper, he’s at least someone who has been bought by the Earth worshippers. But these people really aren’t about Earth first. They’re about socialism and control. Obama’s energy policy is about making us dependant on the government. Make no mistake, when electricity prices get high enough the left will clamor for the government to either take over the electricity industry or they’ll demand massive government subsidies. Either way, we’ll be dependant on the state. That’s what they’re after at the end of the day. Obama wants higher energy costs, he so much as said so in 2008. His reason is to make the average American dependant on the state.

Earth Worshippers A Cancer On Mankind

Yesterday was Earth worship day. The Birn’s celebrated by burning two charcoal chimney’s and grilling animals. Earth worship confronted us all last week as NBC went “green” throughout the NHL playoffs. It’s interesting that NBC never mentions Christian holidays, only pagan Earth worship gets a weeks worth of coverage. It is of course absurd to worship the creation over the Creator as any Christian will tell you. The origins of modern Earth worship however are much worse than that. They are rooted in a hatred of man kind. The left-wing Club of Rome has declared that Earth has cancer and the cancer is man.

This cancer of course must be destroyed according to Earth worshippers. As such the far left has sought to destroy mankind by making it more difficult for him to survive. It’s no secret that DDT wiped out malaria in South America, Asia and Africa. It saved half a billion lives by the 70′s. Then came Rachel Carson’s “Silent Spring” which falsely alleged DDT was killing birds. The newly Nixon created EPA banned DDT and the left tied American foreign aid to the ban of DDT. In short, if African nations wanted to receive American aid that had to eliminate DDT. Malaria has been on the rise ever since, killing an estimated 100 million Africans and millions of others. All in the name of mother Earth.

The racist eugenics crowd (think Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood) come together with the Earth worshippers when it comes to abortion and forced contraception. Not content just getting rid of as many “inferior” black and Asian babies as possible, the Earth worshipping left always uses abortion to further their anti-man agenda. Once again, US foreign aid is tied to population control programs which include forced sterilizations in many countries and abortions. While under GOP President’s the Federal government doesn’t directly fund abortions, it still encourages them via population control requirements tied to foreign aid.

We could look at energy and how much the left hates cheap energy. Less than a decade ago the left pushed hard for natural gas via shale rock deposits in New York, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Natural gas represented a safe way for the left to “support” energy as at the time extracting gas from shale rocks was expensive and thus was unlikely to amount to anything. Then it became cheap and easy to extract natural gas from shale rocks and the price of natural gas dropped dramatically. The result? The left turned on natural gas and now claims that mining shale is an environmental disaster. Anything that aids mankind the Earth worshipping left opposes.

Religion is banned at the government schools, teachers all over the country remove the word God from song lyrics, books etc. But children are being taught a religion at the government schools, they’re being taught to worship the Earth. Millions of school children spent the last week learning greatly exaggerated stories of environmental disaster. When I was in 5th grade in 1989 we were told the Amazon rainforest was being cut down at the size of England every year. It was an outright lie but who in 5th grade would question what a teacher tells them? Radical environmentalist propaganda is being fed to children in government schools that otherwise ban religion. 

Mankind has a disease and that disease is liberal Earth worship. Earth worshipping environmentalists are responsible for the deaths of more humans than Hitler, Stalin and Mao combined via their DDT ban. They’ve caused countless more deaths as well as human rights abuses by forcing population control on third world nations. Here in the US when they aren’t teaching children to worship Earth in school, they’re turning on any energy that becomes cheap and increases our quality of life. Christians must be particularly mindful of what the Earth worshippers are up to. It’s one thing to be a good steward, it’s another thing to worship and center our lives around the creation over the Creator.

The Left Hates Life; Attack David Beckham For Having Four Kids

Mr. and Mrs. David Beckham are being attacked by the British media as ‘bad examples’ for families. For those unaware, David Beckham is a soccer player and his wife Victoria was at one time a pop singer. Both are British. I personally detest soccer and nothing good has come out of the music industry since 1949. In any event, both are major European stars with a fairly large American following, which is why their story is important. Their story shows how much the left hates children and life.

So what is the dreadful sin the Beckhams committed that the British press say is a ‘bad example’? They haven’t had public fights, they haven’t cheated on each other and they haven’t swindled anyone. Their terrible sin is that they’ve had four children. For this they are irresponsible and a bad example, at least according to leftists and environmentalists.

British TV zoologist David Attenborough says:

We need to have a far greater public debate about population, whether it focuses on improving family planning or reducing global inequality – and looking again at how we address the strain on our natural resources. The absence of an open and honest discussion about this issue means most people don’t give much thought to the scale of global population growth in recent years.

British anti-family activist Simon Ross suggests tax incentives for small families:

That would send a clear signal that the government will support sustainable families, but after that you are on your own,” he said. “There is a big issue there, family planning is cheap, yet many people don’t use it properly and accidental pregnancy rates are very high. We need to change the incentives to make the environmental case that one or two children are fine but three or four are just being selfish.

In Mr. Ross’s comments we see the direction the far left is going. One or two children is acceptable in their world but any more is selfish. They know best of course and if we don’t agree we’re just selfish. Never mind of course that Mr. and Mrs. Beckham can more than afford their four children. In fact, most Americans and Europeans can more than afford four children. The issue here is that the left doesn’t want them to exist in the first place.

This is why the left continues to demand funding for abortion mills like Planned Parenthood. They want children to be murdered via abortion. Why would they want this? The hardcore left is simply demonic and hates life. Others fool themselves into believing it’s best for everyone. Others are simply worshipping Earth and have convinced themselves that more humans will destroy their god. In the end, their position is not only wicked, it’s ridiculous on its face.

Mankind isn’t over populating. There are plenty of resources to go around. The problem with famine and want in the world has little to do with how many people are living. It has to do with corrupt government. Look at the nations that are starving today and the one common thing you’ll see is that they are plagued by corrupt governments. Get rid of the corrupt government, allow people to live in freedom and starvation disappears almost immediately.

We need to encourage people to have more children. Most of us won’t be Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar (their theology is ridiculous, don’t even start me) but having more than two children isn’t a bad thing. Having four children isn’t selfish, it is a blessing from God. Leave it to the far left to twist the goodness of God into something to be looked down upon. That’s really what this issue comes down to. The far left hates God and as a result they hate life and view life negatively. It’s very sad to see this happen.

Progressives Preach Doom and Gloom “Full Earth”

The environmentalist wackos are always good for a laugh. The only problem with them is that they are deadly serious and have connections to socialists and other big government types who are all to willing to use so-called climate change as an excuse to push socialism on the US and the world. Last week one environmentalist crazy suggested that those of us who deny climate change as they define it should be tattooed. The writer backed off his statement toward the end of his editorial but the message is clear, it is acceptable to brand and attack people who dare to question saintly scientists and their big government benefactors.

NY Times Columnist Thomas Friedman declared yesterday that the Earth was full. A full Earth explains why food prices are rising according to Friedman and it is a signal that massive social upheaval is going to happen throughout the world. Let’s ignore Friedman’s misunderstanding of economics (food prices are rising because of a weak dollar, government regulations and because we’re burning our food as ethanol) and focus on a full Earth and massive social upheaval.

A declaration of a full Earth is essentially a license for government to kill children or prevent children from being born. While Friedman notes environmental problems in China, proponents of a full Earth must adore China’s one child policy. After all, if Earth is full then less humans should be on the planet. One way to achieve that is to kill off all the old people. Not being politically expedient to kill off the old folks, killing off the unborn is much easier. It stands to reason that if Earth is full the best way to reduce the number of people is to prevent children from being born. A one child policy would, in theory, reduce the number of people in the world by half in a generation or two. That’s great for Earth worshipers but it isn’t so hot for those of us who believe life is a blessing from God and who desire a large family or for those of us who don’t buy the full Earth line.

 Friedman predicts massive social upheaval in the next century because of climate change. This argument goes hand in hand with the progressive desire for massive social upheaval and change. The progressives want to separate us from our historic Christian and capitalist past and create a new socialist civilization. The climate change, Earth worshiper types want to destroy western civilization and capitalism and create an environmentally friendly paradise. You can see why far left progressives are almost always advocates of the faulty climate change theories. By scaring people into believing the Earth is in danger, they can push for the radical progressive change they so desire.

While it may be 90 outside today, the fact is the Earth is not warming and it hasn’t since 1998. Over the past several years dozens of prominent climate change scientists have been exposed as frauds and snake oil salesmen. Over the past two decades, hundreds of laws in nations throughout the world have shown to have little to no affect on the environment, despite being enacted with great environmental fanfare. Climate change is a fraud, it is nothing more than a means to push a big government, anti-freedom end. Earth is not full, we are not suffering from global warming and the environment is just fine. The far left is lying to you because they want power over you and your life.

Politically Connected Businesses, Earth Worshipers Push Government To Mandate More Fruits and Vegetables in Our Diets

Governments across the world are increasing the number of recommended servings of fruits and vegetables from five to eight per day. However, at least one expert out there is calling out this increase as absolute nonsense. For years we’ve been told by government and nutrition experts that fruits and vegetables will save us from various cancers, heart disease and several other illnesses. However, there’s simply no evidence that it’s true.

So why are governments running around telling us to eat more fruits and vegetables? There are two reasons. First, there are several politically connected fruit and vegetable producers who have used government to promote their products. Second, among the left there is a bent toward Earth worship and that movement has resulted in both ‘good’ and ‘evil’ foods. Good foods are of course fruits and vegetables, evil foods include meat and depending on what kind of Earth worshiper you’re dealing with, dairy, high fructose corn syrup, refined sugar etc.

It’s no secret that big businesses use government to regulate their competition out of business. But they also use government to promote their products. Government willingly goes along so long as they’re getting campaign cash and so long as it furthers some moral agenda that government has decided to push. In the case of food producers, one of the biggest group of campaign donors are food producers and farmers. Government bureaucrats, largely liberal Democrats, have been for years moralizing about what we eat.

Since the progressive era, the left has been preoccupied with what people eat. It isn’t limited to the United States, the far left has always been concerned with what people eat. Nazi Germany for example (yes they are left-wing socialists) was completely preoccupied with what people ate and promoted so-called healthier food. Hitler was a vegetarian. I don’t suggest of course that all vegetarians are Nazi’s, this is only an example to illustrate that historically leftists have been preoccupied with food.

There have been all sorts of food movements throughout Europe, always orchestrated by the left and all seek to return people ‘to the Earth.’ Organic is being pushed by progressives all over the world despite the fact that there is no health benefit to it at all. The latest left-wing food fad is buying food that is grown or produced locally. There is of course no health benefit to doing this and it only costs more. Local and organic are at their base a form of snobbery, not to mention a form of Earth worship.

The most recent food movements reveal the Earth worshiping nature of the left. (not all the left of course, but certainly its food leaders: read Michelle Obama) The organic movement has nothing to do with better tasting or healthier fruits and vegetables. While they market organic that way, what the left is really doing is battling fertilizers that they imagine are ruining Earth. The local movement is much the same, food grown or produced locally isn’t any different than food moved across half the world. What the left doesn’t like is the energy costs associated with food travel, so they pretend local is better in order to ‘save’ the Earth from an imagined problem.

If you enjoy eating fruits and vegetables, go right ahead and enjoy eating them. I couldn’t care less what you chose to eat. But we must be perfectly honest about fruits and vegetables. They aren’t going to save you from disease and they aren’t going to make you any healthier. Government is promoting the notion that you’ll be healthy if you eat them because politically connected businesses are essentially paying them to do so. Meanwhile left-wing bureaucrats and ‘experts’ are pushing the same line because they worship Earth. Again, if you enjoy fruits and vegetables go ahead and eat them to your heart’s content. But if you’re only eating them because government, advertising or so-called  experts tell you to then I think you ought to look at their motivations and re-think whether you really need to eat so many fruits and vegetables.
