George Soros Has Ties To Over Thirty Mainstream Media Outlets

Radical leftist George Soros has connections to over 30 mainstream news outlets, including all of the major American newspapers and the mainstream television networks. This includes supposed journalists Christiane Amanpour, David Gergen, and David Boardman as well as editors of the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and producers and assorted Vice Presidents from CBS, NBC and ABC News. Most Soros organizations are quite up front about their progressive policies and their support for a left-wing “open society.”
It would be one thing if we were talking about editorial writers or news commentators. Cynthia Tucker, for example, is a noted leftist and is the editor of the editorial page at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It’s one thing for her to be part of the Soros funded Journalism Advisory Board because she doesn’t pretend to be objective. It’s another thing however for Jill Abramson, a managing editor at the New York Times to be on such a board. If we were just talking about people who don’t claim to be objective journalists, it would be interesting to note their Soros connections but it wouldn’t be that big a deal.
This issue becomes a big deal when the media claims to be objective and fair. How can journalists be fair when they are associated with organizations that explicitly desire to push a progressive agenda? Christiane Amanpour has said all sorts of nasty things about the Tea Party and has said that tax cuts are “giveaways.” She echos Soros most of the time. That isn’t objective journalism, it’s progressive politics masked as journalistic inquiry. It’s important for Americans to understand how many influential journalists and news organizations fall under the influence of Soros.
George Soros has spent his career earning money by collapsing currencies. For example, he made around $1 billion collapsing the British pound back in the 80′s. He has used his fortune to buy political influence around the world. He’s associated with dozens of progressive organizations that push his so-called Open Society viewpoint. It’s important for Americans to understand that those journalists and news organizations that are part of Soros groups are extremely biased. Once a journalist joins a progressive organization, they can no longer be considered objective. They are peddling an agenda.
There’s a reason why so many conservatives accuse the mainstream press of holding an extreme liberal bias. There are dozens of websites out there that devote themselves to pointing out every example of left-wing bias in the media. But the real proof is in the associations of journalists, editors and top executives within the mainstream press. That so many are associated and part of organizations with an explicit progressive agenda proves media bias. Anyone who believes that these people remain objective in their job is kidding themselves.
Soros wants to fundamentally remake America in his image. He wants to force Americans to live under progressive socialism. He is spending his fortune to make this happen. It includes getting as many journalists as possible under his sphere of influence. The more we know about Soros and the connections he has in the media, the less power he will have. We must let people know that the bias claimed by the right isn’t our imagination. It is proven by their own connections with radical progressives.
