Leftist Protesters Seek Mass Wealth Redistribution

Van Jones, a former the former Obama administration green jobs czar, is one of the leftists organizing the Wall Street ‘Days of Rage” protests. While these leftists are busy “occupying” Wall Street, Van Jones is hosting a conference titled “Take Back the American Dream.” At this conference Anne Hess, a major Democrat fundraiser, declares that the American Dream is about redistributing wealth. She goes further to suggest that free housing and free healthcare are rights.

Don’t be fooled by the leftists who are attacking the Federal Reserve. They trying to fool you into thinking their policies are similar to your own and they’re trying to fool you into believing that their policies are reasonable. There is plenty to not like about the Federal Reserve, but we ought not forget that the current progressive President is the one encouraging the Fed to inflate the currency. We have to look beyond these minor points of agreement, we have to look at what these leftists really stand for in order to determine whether or not we should support their movement.

Van Jones imagines that his leftist movement is the left-wing response to the Tea Party. The fact though is that the Tea Party wasn’t organized from on high like the Days of Rage protests. No one got arrested at Tea Party events, no one “occupied” anything and the Tea Parties never encouraged rage. From the very beginning, the Tea Party was an organic organization, a grass roots group of disconnected conservatives. For example the Tea Party in Grand Rapids is not the same as the Tea Party in Holland only a few miles away. There are multiple groups claiming to be national tea party organizations, they all have different sets of beliefs and different policies they find most important. This is the opposite of the Van Jones group, which is being funded by George Soros and being organized from on high. They don’t represent “the people” they only represent the interests of Jones and Soros.

Looking beyond organization, these people are socialists bordering on Communists. They believe in the mass redistribution of wealth. They believe there is a right to free housing and free healthcare. They have, at times, attacked President Obama for not redistributing wealth enough. Is the leftist opposition to the Fed really enough to make conservatives or libertarians join  their rallies? One would certainly hope not because these leftists are protesting in the tradition of Lenin, Stalin and Mao. They’ll use  your support today and when they get power they’ll kill you.

These leftists don’t want to reform the American government, they want a revolution. Van Jones and all of these guys are very up front about this. Their idea of a revolution looks more like the French or Russian revolution than it does the American revolution. It would have to considering the American revolution was about limited government and freedom, which is the opposite of what these leftists believe.

We need to pay attention to Van Jones and company because they’re seeking to fundamentally transform America through a leftist revolution. They want to destroy this nation, they want to destroy capitalism and they want to destroy freedom as we know it. They’re not joking around. This isn’t just a group of stupid college kids who are in it for fun.

Radical Leftists Seek American Autumn Revolution

Radical leftists have demonstrated on the streets of various cities throughout the United States over the past few weeks. These so-called “Days of Rage” protests are aimed at Wall Street, just like Stephen Lerner of SEIU said they would be back in March. These people supported the Arab Spring and want to create an American Autumn.

They are led by the usual assortment of extremist liberals such as Van Jones, a Communist, who has declared there will be an “October offensive to take back the American dream.” Also involved os Francis Fox Piven, a radical leftist professor who declared the other day that “I think we desperately need a popular uprising in America.” Unions are involved in these protests as well as an assortment of radical leftist organizations funded by George Soros. Around 700 were arrested at the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend while dozens were arrested in Boston. There were small gatherings in Chicago and elsewhere of these radical leftists.

It’s important to note the connections between these folks and the uprisings in the Arab world, particularly in Egypt. We talked about the connections between American leftists and the Muslim Brotherhood and the uprisings here on this blog, how it was odd that American leftists would be interested in the particulars of Egyptian politics.

There are connections though. These leftists want a worldwide socialist revolution, Egypt is part of their strategy and so is the United States. They want to create conditions of chaos, once chaos rules they’re already prepared to take control and offer a solution to stop the chaos. Never mind that they created the chaos in the first place. The Islamic socialists in the Arab world and the radical leftists here in the US have things in common. They hate capitalism, Israel and the United States. They use vague ideas of democracy and freedom, twisting the meaning of freedom so that it stands for servitude to the state.

Van Jones wants to challenge the Tea Party with the leftist mob. You’ll note that the Tea Party never produced any arrests, much less dozens or hundreds at single events. The Tea Party caught on throughout the country. So far these leftists have only staged protests in major cities, with New York and Boston providing the only protests over a few dozen people. That isn’t going to stop Van Jones or George Soros, who is the man funding all of this behind the scenes. These people want to bring chaos to the country before the 2012 election.

Van Jones, Frances Fox Piven and other radical leftists want a revolution and they aren’t using the term as hyperbole. They’re deadly serious. Rosanne Barr, who was part of the leftist protests in New York, declared that she wanted bankers beheaded if they refused to give up all wealth over $100 million. She even suggested using the guillotine. To be fair to Mrs. Barr, she did suggest sending the rich to “re-education” camps before their beheading. She’s quite serious and no one associated with these protests have distanced themselves from her or criticized her statements. Likely because they agree.

What Van Jones and company want to do is not just create an American version of the Arab spring. They want to create an American version of the French revolution, one of the most evil times in French history. Mobs ruled, anyone who questioned anything was sent to the guillotine. What resulted from the French revolution was modern French socialism. Jones and company want to take it further than that, they likely want to bring about a Communist revolution. What they desire first though is chaos in the style of the French revolution.

These people will not succeed. Van Jones pretends that because 80% of the country dislikes Wall Street that this equals 80% support for his movement. The American people are not quite as stupid as Jones believes. Americans aren’t going to hop on board any movement en masse without first taking a serious look at what that movement stands for. Only 20% of the country identifies themselves as liberal. People identify themselves as conservative or moderate at 40% a piece. This has been consistent for decades. We have a center right country and when people recognize what Jones and his group of moronic student protesters actually believe they’ll oppose them. It’s why this movement of the left won’t have traction in the short term or long term among middle class Americans.

It is important for us to pay attention to these people though. Jones, Piven, Trumka, Soros and other radical leftists want to bring about a revolution in the United States. They want to throw our way of life and the Constitution aside in favor of global socialism. They’re working with radical Islamic socialists in the middle east and they desire an overthrow of the American government. Is this something you want to associate yourself?

Valerie Jarret, Obama Remain Committed Socialists

There seems to be a fundamental disconnect between the Obama administration’s view of government and the founders view of government, not to mention the majority of Americans today. Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett declared the other day that the purpose of government is to “give people a livelihood so they can provide for their families.” For a socialist or a communist, this is a proper view of government. But for the founders and for the majority of Americans this is a major over step of governmental power.

Jarrett is in the least a socialist. To her it’s the duty of the government to provide a job for every American. If she’s a Marxist, the government controls all industry and therefore can provide all jobs. If she’s a fascist then the government orders business to hire employees. This is a substantial shift from the founders vision of government, which was limited to protecting individual rights. Jobs and income were never part of the founders discussions in the Federalist Papers. The Constitution doesn’t outline what the government will give the American people, rather it outlines the limited powers the government has. All other powers are reserved for the states or the people.

Most Americans still at least partially subscribe to the founders original vision of government. Part of the problem today is that even those of us on the right talk about job creation as though government create jobs. It’s very easy to point out that 17-18 million jobs were created during the Reagan administration. President Reagan didn’t create those jobs though. All he did was cut government regulations and taxes. The result of doing those things spurred the private sector to create jobs.

Obama is running around the country with a jobs bill that doesn’t actually create private sector jobs. It’s the top down approach that we’ve come to expect from the far left. The job creator isn’t the private sector but rather the government. Not only does the government do an inefficient job (It will cost a minimum $200,000 per new job) but they also aren’t creating long term, stable jobs. There’s a reason why the top down approach didn’t work for Obama’s Stimulus bill. Government created a miniscule amount of jobs and ended up losing more by creating massive regulations.

The Valerie Jarrett and Obama approach to jobs simply isn’t sustainable in a mostly free market economy. One is left wondering why they continue to push forward with the government control model that clearly doesn’t work. It is necessary to go back to Obama’s victory speech in 2008 when he declared that now he was going to go forward and “fundamentally transform America.” Jarrett’s comments are that fundamental transformation of America that Obama was talking about. He wants America to become a socialist nation. His background and everything about his life leading up to becoming President has been about socialism and furthering the radical socialist cause.

While the progressive left grouses about Obama, he continues forward with his socialist vision for the country. His ridiculous jobs plan is little more than class warfare. Sure he’s trying to shore up his base but he really believes that the rich should give up most of their wealth. Behind the scenes, Obama continues to push forward with cumbersome regulations on business. The far left was outraged by the debt ceiling deal but in the end Obama cut nothing the far left really cares about. From the looks of it there will be more military spending cuts than anything else, the progressive left ought to love that.

Obama still has the same vision for our nation that he did in 2008. He remains a committed socialist and continues to surround himself with committed socialists like Valerie Jarrett. His advisers remain far left liberals, he has no moderates in his administration. Only two things have changed for Obama since he took office. First, now that the public knows him better it’s clear he never had the skills necessary to be President. Second, the public has given him a Republican House so as to obstruct his mission. Obama remains forever the same. The disconnect between his view of government and the founders is clear for everyone to see.

Progressive Left Seeks To Take Power Away From The People

Two Democrats have come out against elected government in the last few days. North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue actually suggested suspending Congressional elections so that Congress can fix the economy. The North Carolina Democrat claims to have been joking but the tone of her voice and the fact that no one laughed suggests she was serious. Former Obama staffer Peter Orszag has taken it a step further. He doesn’t oppose elections but he does want to take the job of governing away from elected officials. Of the two Orszag’s position is the most dangerous.

Governor Perdue’s comments have drawn opposition from throughout the Republican Party. A good number of Democrats have distanced themselves from her. Mrs. Perdue’s claim that she’s joking is just not believable. In a republican government such as the Federal government, it is outrageous to suggest suspending elections. Our nation has never suspended elections, even during civil war and other times of national crisis. Elections have always been held because we are a nation governed by the people.

Elections aren’t going to be suspended because the American people (and the military I suspect) aren’t going to stand for it. So Gov. Perdue’s suggestion can be criticized and generally ignored as a non-starter. It’s Orszag’s position that is more dangerous because it’s more likely to be pushed for by Democrats. Orszag suggests we have too much ‘democracy.’ He suggests that the job of governing should shift away from elected officials towards unelected commissions and “automatic policies.” This is the sort of thing already being pushed for by the Obama administration. In fact, it’s what a lot of Obamacare is made up of: Unelected commissions that will decide how your healthcare will be administered.

The United States already has a number of unelected commissions that are able to create policy without oversight from Congress or elected officials. The best example of this though isn’t here in the US, it’s at the European Union. The EU is largely made up of bureaucrats who set policy for the entire Continent. The people don’t have any direct say in EU policy, it is simply dictated to them from on high. This seems to be what Orszag really wants. It fits in with the socialist mindset of the progressive left. If they cannot win the hearts of the people, they’ll force socialism though commission and declaration.

Orszag would be easy to dismiss if we only looked at the sour grapes aspect of his argument. Now that the Republicans control the House, there’s gridlock and the progressive agenda is mostly dead on arrival. It’s no surprise that the progressive left isn’t happy about that. Interestingly Congress and ‘democracy’ are great according to these people when the progressive left is in control. When they fall out of control Congress becomes a threat that’s destroying our government. Orszag shouldn’t be dismissed as a sour grapes liberal though. His position is serious and it is dangerous because it takes governing away from the people.

The progressives aren’t fools. They know that one day Obama will be out of power and eventually a Republican will be back in the White House. This is why Obamacare in particular included so many unelected boards that would create American healthcare policy. Most of the decisions these boards make aren’t reviewable by the courts and they can only be overturned by a 2/3 majority in Congress according to the Obamacare legislation. For this reason Orszag cannot be dismissed. He isn’t talking in a sour grapes fashion, he’s talking about serious policies that the Obama administration has already backed and signed into law.

The progressive left wants you and I to have less say over government policy. We’re ‘dangerous’ and obstructing to their goal of turning American into a socialist nation. The want to limit the power of the people by limiting the power given to Congress by the Constitution. In fact, not only do they want to limit Congressional power, they even want to limit Presidential power. After all, the President has little say in the decisions these unelected Commissions reach. The progressive left wants to move the country when the country does not wish to be moved left. They’ll try it via elections and if they can’t win elections they’ll write laws that take power away from the people and place that power in the hands of unelected liberal bureaucrats. The left is being very open about this, why aren’t more people paying attention?

Radical Leftists Fight For White House Influence

Radical Islam in the form of the Muslim Brotherhood has made inroads into the White House. This according to Marxist Tarek Fatah. This is alarming to someone like Fatah because as a Marxist, he is opposed to Islamic socialism because it is essentially National Socialism for Muslims. In the minds of Marxists, National Socialism and Fascism are “right-wing.” In Europe today Fascism is “right-wing” while Democratic Socialism is considered moderate. In the United States all of these positions are on the left-wing wing. The American right-wing is based in freedom and limited government.

That the Marxists are concerned about the growing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in the White  House is interesting. There has always been a battle on the left between international socialists who come in the form of Communists and national socialists who come in the form of Fascists. Historically the international socialists got their marching orders from Moscow, today they continue to have the same vision of a worldwide Communist government. The national socialists have never been on board with the international goals of the Communists, even if they agree across the board on everything else. National socialists aren’t interested in the international, they’re interested only in the nation they are part of. We saw that in Germany, Italy, Spain and Argentina. These nations weren’t interested in anything other than their own national interests.

The radical Muslims view Islam as it’s own nation, a caliphate if you will. It doesn’t matter to them that Muslims are in many different countries, they view Islam as a nation. They reject the atheism of Communism, which means they reject international socialism. Their outlook currently is nationalistic, focusing on uniting all Muslims into one nation. I suspect long term their view will move more international, but they must get organized into a caliphate first.

It’s interesting to me that the Marxists are noticing the national socialist goals of the Muslim Brotherhood and are bothered by its influence in the White House. While leftists will generally work together to create chaotic conditions that they can then exploit to gain power, ultimately those with a long term vision realize that the differing factions of socialism will ultimately kill each other for superiority. It’s what happened in Germany for example. In the 1920′s Communists and Nazi’s at times worked together, their members freely moved about the two groups. By the 1930′s the Nazi’s openly opposed the Communists, the battle was for ultimate power in Germany. By the mid 1930′s after Hitler took over, not only were Communists sent to concentration camps, so were all other socialists.

Fatah sees the end game coming, the battle between international socialists and national socialists, probably in the form of an Islamic caliphate. His concern that the influence that the Muslim Brotherhood has in the White House will hurt the position of international socialists. He is absolutely correct, it will. But as Americans we need to ask ourselves why our President is involved in a battle between various groups of radical leftists. Why is the Muslim Brotherhood in the ear of President Obama? If those folks are in the ear of the President, it makes you wonder how many Marxists are whispering in his other ear.

The United States remains the last outpost of freedom in the world. President Obama wants to take our freedom away by nationalizing the auto industry and regulating control of banks from Washington, not to mention Obamacare. It’s never been a secret that Obama is a leftist, but that we have competing groups of radical leftists battling for positioning with the President should disturb us greatly. These groups aren’t interested in individual freedom. They aren’t interested in property rights or free speech. Their idea of democracy is mob rule and violence. We should be greatly concerned that the Muslim Brotherhood has inroads at the White House. We should be even more concerned that Marxists are battling for equal attention. Obama represents oppression and tyranny, not freedom.

Obama The Socialist Wants To Dictate What Cars Are Sold

President Obama declared that the auto industry “can’t just make money on SUV’s and trucks.” It’s a generally meaningless statement coming from someone who has never actually worked in the auto industry and in fact hasn’t ever worked in any industry. Obama isn’t even an economist, so one wonders how he makes such a declaration. It’s like me declaring to Hershey’s that they can’t just make money on Hershey bars and kisses. It’s utterly meaningless because I am not nor have I ever been in the chocolate business.

But alas, Obama’s statement carries the force of government behind it. Mr. Obama doesn’t just make meaningless statements, he makes statements with the threat of regulations behind it. Obama has already pushed fuel efficiency standards so high that the auto makers can barely keep up while consumers are utterly  uninterested in the overly fuel efficient vehicles that are being offered. The Chevy Volt, which was created with government money, has been a dismal failure. Meanwhile trucks and SUV’s continue to sell well and earn profits for the auto industry.

But of course, these are not the vehicles Obama wants people to drive. He is completely uninterested in what consumers want, he is only interested in what pushes his radical green agenda. He’s furthermore uninterested in what will actually earn auto makers a profit. He seems to believe that simply because vehicles are offered they earn a profit or worse he believes a profit is interchangeable between all vehicles. He shows his complete and total ignorance of how business operates. Obama shows himself to be a community organizer with no business understanding whatsoever.

Vehicles are not interchangeable with one another. Ford cannot earn the same profit on a SUV as they do on an economy car. But when you don’t understand how business works, it seems perfectly logical that each vehicle comes with the same profit. It surely does not. Economy cars are only profitable if sold in volume, it requires a lot of people buying the same car. They make money, but there are many Americans out there who don’t want to buy these cars. Step in the SUV market, which earns a higher profit for each vehicle sold and appeases those who want a higher end car. The same could be said of luxury cars and trucks. They earn high profit margins because the people buying them are willing to pay the extra money for added features and perhaps for the appearance of luxury.

It’s not difficult to understand. I’m neither an economist nor in the car industry. But I do know a little bit about business. Cars are not interchangeable just like legal services are not interchangeable. There’s something to be said for volume sales but they don’t earn as much as high end sales. A business can’t simply shift to volume sales in the hopes that those on the higher end will give up their consumer demands. But this is exactly what Obama thinks will happen. He wants to control the marketplace by dictating what can be sold. This is a fine example of Obama the socialist.

We need a free market if we’re going to get out of this recession. Obama has no intention of allowing the free market to rule. The man is a socialist and he’s true to his cause, wrong though it may be. We don’t need government dictating what can be sold from on high. This is true whether we’re talking about cars, chocolate bars or widgets. Government dictating the marketplace is a recipe for disaster. It will prolong the recession and cost us more jobs. We don’t need more government control, we need more freedom. As long as Obama is in office, he will deny us freedom as he ‘fundamentally transforms America’ into a fascist (read: a form of socialism not the Nazi Party) disaster zone.

Godless Welfare State Burns London

London is burning as the welfare class rises against cuts in to their lazy lifestyle. What started as a race riot has turned into a leftist riot against cuts to the welfare state. Unlike past leftist rallies and revolutions, this seems to be less about obtaining power and more about preserving welfare. Two snot nosed welfare recipients crowed that they were showing the ‘rich’ and the police that they can ‘do what we want.” Apparently this means that the riots are about stealing wine, flat screen televisions and burning down the neighborhood. In other words, they’re about selfish gain rather than any imaginary notion of political justice.

These riots started out as race riots. They however appear to have been taken over by people who remind me a great deal of the anarchists who protest and loot at just about every G8 Conference. These people are funded by various leftists, including George Soros. Keep in mind, the left views the chaos caused by riots as a power grab opportunity. The left encourages street violence and riots in order to grab power for themselves. This is what is taking place in England today, the far left is encouraging mob violence in order to take power back. One wonders how long it will take the Cameron government to collapse.

These riots show us everything that is wrong with the welfare state. The cradle to grave welfare state teaches people that they are entitled to money, housing, health insurance and so on without ever putting even the smallest amount of effort into their own existence. The welfare state teaches people to be dependant on a faceless bureaucrat. So instead of looking to family and friends for help, people look to bureaucrats. The end result is that there is a disconnect between individuals and their families and communities.

When there is a disconnect between individuals and their community, burning down local businesses isn’t viewed in a bad light by these people. Especially so when they believe that the owners of those businesses are taking away welfare benefits. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t true, when you have no connection to your community it matters not to you whether your neighbors house burns so long as yours stands.

The reaction to the threat of welfare being cut back or cut off isn’t particularly surprising. These people don’t know how to fend for themselves because they’ve been taught from birth that faceless bureaucrats will take care of them. Now that there isn’t any money to do so, these welfare slaves are freaking out over the prospect of having to fend for themselves. Make no mistake, these people are slaves to the welfare state. They literally have no idea how to truly take care of themselves. Their reaction is about what one can expect, they’re going to go grab what they can before they have to fend for themselves. We see in what they’re grabbing the depths of their welfare slavery. They’re going after bottles of wine, tennis shoes and televisions rather than food and clothing.

One thing that needs to be mentioned is that England has become a post-Christian society. We’re talking about a nation where less than 5% attend Church on Sunday. They have turned their back on God and in doing so they’ve brought these riots upon themselves. Socialism is the antithesis of the Christian faith. It teaches dependence on government rather than dependence on God. Under socialism, God is replaced by the welfare bureaucrat. God requires self reliance, socialism requires reliance on the government. God requires hard work, socialism allows for sloth. The acts of evil we are seeing in England is what one should expect from people who have turned their back on Jesus Christ. A once great Christian nation doesn’t think anything of stealing wine, shoes and televisions while burning down the local furniture store.

England and the world watch on in horror as the riots spread from London to the rest of the country. Night after night, the riots continue. The problems are clear. The socialist welfare state has destroyed two generations of British citizens. The only hope for England, in fact the only hope for the world, is a return to Christ. We have seen what is happening in England happen in every post-Christian European nation over the past 200 years. It has finally come to England. We must pray for revival and a rejection of the welfare state. We Americans must look at what’s happening in England and take it as the warning that it is.

Al Gore’s American Spring Call Signals Leftist Protests in 2013

The media and much of the country is focused on the stock market drop yesterday. Over the last two weeks the Dow has dropped 10% and it appears more is on the way today. But tucked hidden away is a story that is far more disturbing than a moderate correction on Wall Street. Former Vice President Al Gore is calling for an “American Spring.” By that he means he wants an overthrown of the American government, much like the overthrown or attempted overthrow of governments throughout the Arab world last spring.

A quick review of what the Arab Spring was. It was a push by the Muslim Brotherhood, funded and aided by western leftists like George Soros, to overthrow governments throughout the Arab world and replace them with Islamic socialist governments. The Brotherhood succeeded in overthrowing the governments in Egypt and Tunisia and continue to fight in Libya and elsewhere.

The key to these Arab revolutions is that they were both Islamic and socialist. Their goal is to replace governments with an Islamic caliphate. Their broader goals, which are shared by western leftists, include the destruction of capitalism, Israel and the United States. This is what makes Al Gore’s comments so disturbing. When he calls for an American Spring, what he’s calling for is the overthrow of the United States as we know it. He wants capitalism destroyed, he wants our country destroyed.

In typical leftist fashion, Gore projects how the left operates on the right. He accuses the Tea Party of being inauthentic and funded by “right-wing billionaires.” Both charges are untrue, but that doesn’t matter. What was inauthentic were the Arab Spring revolutions. They were funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros. They were staged by the Muslim Brotherhood, who had planned the revolutions beginning in 2009. While the media portrayed the Arab Spring revolutions as spontaneous, they were anything but.

So what is Al Gore up to here? Surely Gore doesn’t want to overthrow the Obama administration. What I believe Gore is doing is setting up 2013 for the left. What he’s doing is calling on the left to begin organizing an “American Spring” for the spring of 2013, when a Republican will be President of the United States. What Gore wants to do is create the illusion of a spontaneous reaction to a conservative President, even though the plans were set up long before that President even won the GOP nomination.

Gore wants a left-wing Tea Party to react to a Republican President. Because the left has never been particularly good at spontaneous protests since the 60′s, Gore is calling for the organization of spontaneous protests two years in advance. This is why Gore is attacking the Tea Party, he doesn’t understand how it can be that  protests cannot be organized. The Tea Party was never funded in any serious way by the Koch Brothers or any other billionaire.

Gore and many on the left can’t figure out how that could be possible because the left is incapable of protesting without massive organization. The left has massive unions that are capable of organizing Astroturf protests and they have the George Soros funded Open Society organizations that are capable of organizing massive protests. Organization takes time and Gore and the left cannot figure out how the Tea Party was able to spontaneously arise without organization. As a result, the left assumes there was organization and projects its organization and its inability to be spontaneous on the right.

Everyone is ignoring Al Gore’s statement. We should not. We must be prepared for an American Spring in 2013 where legions of Astroturf liberals descend on the streets of Washington protesting the next Republican President. The plans are in the works. If Al Gore is calling for it, you can bet that Soros and the unions are going to heed his call, if they haven’t decided to organize such protests already. When these protests happen in the spring of 2013, we will know that Gore called for them in 2011 and they will have been organized for the last two years. They will be about as spontaneous as a 100 year old building.

Leftist Teachers Union Endorses Obama’s Re-Election

The National Education Association (NEA) has endorsed Obama’s re-election. The NEA is the nation’s largest teachers union, with the most power by far. They won’t even bother giving the Republicans the courtesy of nominating a candidate before endorsing Obama. That ought to tell you how far left the NEA is. The problem with the teachers union being so far left is that their liberal outlook spills over to the classroom. Especially so when the NEA controls the overwhelming majority of school boards.

A former NEA leader told the NEA at their national convention that he and the organization are proud socialists. He wants to take socialism to the classroom, which the NEA has successfully done for generations. Just last school year the NEA supported a Communism day where Mao was glorified in classrooms across the country. Mao of course had tens of millions of Chinese murdered, but I suppose the NEA teachers glossed over that. They’re more interested in the glories of the ‘people’s democracy’ and socialism generally. This is what they’re teaching in American government schools.

The entire history of the NEA is one of socialism. The NEA was founded by progressive socialists like John Dewey. These people wanted to fundamentally change American society by teaching the next generation socialism and state dependence. Dewey and company wanted to break American’s love and admiration of the founding fathers, he wanted our nation to break with its tradition of individual freedom. Early progressives knew the adults of their day were lost to their cause so they focused on children. Slowly over the last century the NEA and government schools have been successful at dumbing down Americans and breeding a dependence on the state. It continues today, as evidenced by the NEA’s control over school boards, curriculum and their love of socialism.

The sad fact is that there is no government school immune from the socialism the NEA is pushing. Your local school may not be controlled by the NEA and perhaps you believe there are a few good teachers in your school. But the fact is the NEA socialists control the teachers colleges, in fact the very existence of teachers colleges are a creation of progressives from a century ago. Make no mistake, the left controls the nation’s teacher’s colleges. The curriculum your school uses is likely created by academics at major teachers colleges, all controlled by the far left. Most of the government school textbooks have a leftist agenda, if not an outright socialist agenda. There’s no  hiding within the nation’s government schools.

There are alternatives. While private Christian schools get their teachers from the nation’s leftist teachers colleges, they will at least allow for religious instruction. Better still is homeschooling, which allows parents to choose what worldview their children are taught. One of the nice things about homeschooling is that parents can outright reject progressive, socialist government schools by teaching a ‘classical education.’ Classical education was specifically singled out by the NEA and education progressives of a century ago as an evil that fostered individual thinking over the collective.

We Christians and conservatives must get our children out of the government schools. The government schools are controlled by leftists who want to use our children to fundamentally transform America into a socialist nation. We can look at our nation’s history over the last century and see that as government schools became more dominate the nation moved left and the quality of education decreased. We have alternatives. We can send our kids to private schools and better still we can homeschool. All Christians and conservatives ought to strongly consider removing their kids from the leftist controlled government schools.

Was Hitler a Christian?

I have often times made the claim that Communism killed as many as a quarter of a billion people in the 20th century. The Soviets and Chinese make up the vast majority of those murdered, with the North Koreans, Cubans and Indo-Chinese making up a good percentage. I’m often confronted with the claim that Hitler was a Christian and that this is somehow proof that Communism alone isn’t to blame for a bloody 20th century. In reality, I include Hitler’s wars and murders because he was a radical leftists. He surely was no Christian.

In Nazi Germany even God was subservient to the state. Hitler rarely spoke about God and when he did he usually used the term ‘almighty’ which is essentially a meaningless word. We can also look at the laws of Germany to determine whether they supported the Christian faith or attacked it. In the late 30′s religious broadcasts were banned from the radio. Book stores were banned from displaying Bibles or religious tracts unless the store exclusively sold religious materials. (these stores were few and far between in Germany) That doesn’t sound like the sort of state that believes in the Christian faith.

Perhaps the best example is found from the Official Guide for the Education of the Hitler Youth. Keep in mind, the Hitler Youth was compulsory for all German youth. The Hitler Youth existed to serve Hitler and the Nazi’s believed they were molding the next generation of Nazi’s. Their education included all the values and goals of the National Socialist German Workers Party.

The Official Guide contained 50 points, 10 of which concerned religious faith. These included:

1: Christianity is a religion for slaves and fools.

2: Christianity and Communism are identical

3: Christianity does not differentiate between white people and Negroes

4: The New Testament is a Jewish lie by four evangelists.

5. The Church is International.

16: There is no Christian Culture

18 Christianity has spoiled the German people, because it has taught them ideas such as adultery and theft, which they had never known.

20. Christianity is only a substitute and cover for Judaism, and was invented by Jews in Rome

21. Jesus Christ was a Jew.

24. How did Christ Die? Whining on the cross. How did Planetta die? Shouting “Heil Hitler!” (Planetta was the murderer of Chancellor Dolfuss).

26. The Ten Commandments are a manifestation of the lowest instincts of humanity.

45. The new Eternal City is Nuremburg. Rome is doomed.

Keep in mind of course that the Nazi’s were National Socialists who hated socialists with an international outlook. International socialists were communists back in the 30′s and took their marching orders from Moscow. Having said that, would a Christian political party declare that the Christian faith is a religion for slaves and fools? Would a Christian teach children that the gospel of Christ is a Jewish lie? Would a Christian nation tell its youth that the 10 Commandments are evil?

I would submit to you that Hitler wasn’t a Christian and the National Socialist German Workers Party had about as much in common with the Christian faith as the Communist Party. The Communists are largely atheists, the Nazi’s were largely old world German occult pagans. The fact that the Christian faith is so roundly attacked in curriculum for the Hitler Youth conclusively proves Hitler’s lack of faith and the National Socialists hatred of the Christian faith. If these people were truly Christians, why ever would they teach the next generation to hate the faith and distrust its truth?
