OWS Kicked Out Of Zuccotti Park For A Moment

As we have stated before, the Occupy Wall Street protests are little more than a highly organized and planned left-wing event. The goal is to create chaos so that the left can further take over by protecting the middle class from the chaotic rabble. This has happened in other countries successfully, apparently the left thinks it can work here. The OWS protesters have been caught defecating on the streets and disease is common place. In Vermont and California there have been murders. In Cleveland there was a rape and there have been numerous reports of sexual assault at OWS encampments.

Last night after nearly two months New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg finally cleared Zuccotti Park. Nearly 1,000 cops were needed to clear the park. Around 70 anarchists were arrested. Bloomberg is about two months late in evicting these people. As it stands, the city is going to clean the park before letting the OWS rabble back in. This time they allegedly won’t be able to pitch tents in the park. We’ll see how long that rule lasts.

Since September, OWS has resulted in over 3,000 arrests, two murders, at least one rape, multiple sexual assaults, multiple theft crimes and disease. OWS has included multiple examples of mass anti-Semitism. It’s cost cities and local governments tens of millions in police and other security and clean up. Yet the mainstream press glosses over all of the crime, all of the cost and all of the negatives. The mainstream press pretends like these are heroic kids fighting for a cause. We’ll of course have to pretend that those kids actually know what they’re fighting for as it’s been clear throughout that the kids on the ground don’t really know why they’re there.

It’s been interesting watching the mainstream media bias in action. They’ve glossed over all of the negatives with OWS, claiming that the violence and racist statements are only from the fringe. Yet with the Tea Party the press declared that organizers were responsible for everything that was said or done at the rallies. Newsbusters has a good rundown of quotes from the New York Times dismissing the OWS violence and racism as fringe while declaring the Tea Party responsible for everything that happens at their rallies. Bias in media is real and this is the perfect example.

It should be interesting to see what happens to OWS in the next few months. If Bloomberg sticks to his no tents declaration, once winter sets in OWS at Zuccotti Park is all but done. There has been talk of a spring offensive. The far left has exposed itself via OWS as not really being the peace loving hipsters they’ve pretended. The very language of their movement is violent and war like. They likely argue that they are fighting a war. But that is a message that doesn’t go over well with the majority of the 99% who just want law and order to rule the day. In any event, it ought to be interesting to see how the leftists regroup after winter. Perhaps next spring they’ll institute a no rape rule or perhaps a no defecating on the streets rule.

OWS Supported By Radicals; Is No Tea Party

A list of Occupy Wall Street supporters is making it’s way around the internet. The list of OWS supporters includes the American Nazi Party, Communist Party USA, Revolutionary Communist Party, Black Panters, Nation of Islam, CAIR, the Ayatollah Khamenei, Hezbollah, the Communist governments of North Korea and China, former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke and the Marxist Student Union. This isn’t simply a group of dumb, smelly hippies who want a job after they graduate as the media is portraying them. It’s a group of radical, extreme leftists and anti-Semites.

This is not the leftist version of the Tea Party. In fact, it isn’t like the Tea Party at all. The Tea Party sought to work within in the system to cut government spending and defeat (now repeal) Obamacare. OWS doesn’t seek to work within the system, the openly seek revolution which would mean eliminating our current system and replacing it entirely. The Tea Party rallies weren’t so much about protesting as much as they were about networking. The Tea Party rallies of 2009 saw less attendance in 2010 but more political involvement because of the networking done the previous year. The Tea Party doesn’t need to hold massive rallies these days, all their work is being done behind the scenes.

The total number of arrests at Tea Party rallies across the nation was 0. There have been over 2,700 arrests at OWS protests. There were no rapes or acts of violence at any Tea Party. There have been over a dozen reported so far at OWS. There were no robberies, no one had anything stolen at Tea Party rallies. At OWS there have been consistent complaints of food, computers, cell phones and cameras being stolen. Most recently a deaf man was raped at OWS in New York.

So these rallies aren’t the Tea Party at all. In fact, they’re the opposite of the Tea Party. They’re lawless, revolutionary and they don’t go home after a couple hours. OWS protesters are busy listening to Communist professors like Alex Callinicos who told the crowd that violence could only be avoided if the so-called 1% obeyed the 99%, which he alleged would never happen. In other words, Callinicos is telling OWS protesters to prepare for violence. This fits perfectly with the list of OWS supporters, most of which endorse armed revolution.

Now that it’s getting cold out only the most diehard leftists remain. The trust fund college students and other assorted college students have largely left the Wall Street protest. What’s left are the homeless bumming organic chicken dinners off of George Soros and the most diehard, extremist left-wing elements. Yet the media will not report this. The media will not tell you that radical Communist groups are actively supporting OWS. They won’t tell you that radical Islamic socialist groups are supporting OWS. They certainly won’t tell you that the Nazi’s and David Duke are supporting OWS. They’re hiding the truth and they’re lying to the American people by drawing a direct line between OWS and the Tea Party.

OWS in the short term will be a failure. It’s going to die out once it really gets cold in New York. If there is more violence, Obama and the Democrats stand to lose big time because they’re on record supporting the protests. In the long run though, we on the right should be deeply concerned. The left has always been better organized than we have been. OWS shows us just how organized they are. These guys are capable of organizing massive nation and worldwide protests and they’re capable of making them appear to be organic, grassroots efforts. It ought to make us all wonder what the organizers of OWS have in store for spring 2013.

If The People Don’t Have Bread Let Them Eat Organic Chicken!

There is a revolt under way at the Occupy Wall Street protests. No, the radical leftist revolutionaries haven’t started an actual revolt yet. But their kitchen staff has. Yes, OWS does in fact have a kitchen staff, something one would have thought would be reserved for the 1%, not the 99%. The poor kitchen staff is apparently stuck working 18 hours a day and they feel underappreciated. They’re also tired of feeding the “professional homeless” and “ex-cons masquerading as protesters.” No, I am not making this up.

The revolt began Wednesday when the kitchen staff only served, gasp, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at a staff meeting. Yesterday the revolt escalated as only sandwiches and chips were served. It will continue today when only brown rice and other “spartan” grub is served. One would have thought this would be what the kitchen staff served in the first place. In fact they normally serve organic chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese and roasted beet and sheep’s milk cheese salad. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.

The irony of all of this is incredible. These leftists claim to be protesting for the lower class and the middle class yet they look down on the “professional homeless” who presumably they’re protesting for. They don’t want to give up their food for the homeless or ex-cons, they want to selfishly keep it. Isn’t this what they accuse bankers and billionaires of doing? Beyond that, the protesters themselves are treating the kitchen staff just as poorly as they accuse big business of treating employees. These people are hypocrites in the extreme.

The menu is mind boggling. Who knew that protesters needed more than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? The menu is something I would expect to find on the dinner table of someone in the 1%. Organic chicken and vegetables, who can afford organic chicken? Bolognese isn’t exactly cheap, have you seen the price of beef these days? Roasted beet and sheep milk cheese salad sounds like a dish on at a high end restaurant that caters to rich middle aged women after they have a spa morning.

The OWS crowd is overrun with hypocrisy and inconsistency. Their kitchen menu exposes any number of things about them. First, they’re very clearly being funded by someone with deep pockets. (read: George Soros) None of what they’re serving on a regular basis is cheap. Someone is paying for it, in fact someone had to be prepared to pay for it up front. The cost of the food they’re using proves, yet again, that OWS is a planned endeavor and not an organic, grass roots uprising.

Second, that these kids are demanding high end food and the kitchen staff believes that they’ll be showing them up by serving sandwiches and brown rice says something about the crowd. If you’re really lower class, such as the “professional homeless” the kitchen staff complains about, you’ll take what you’re given and be grateful for it. That the kitchen staff expects to sticking it to someone by serving sandwiches means that those kids are demanding high end food. It shows us that they aren’t coming from the lower class themselves but are likely coming from the upper middle and upper classes. Which means the protesters are largely a bunch of dumb kids and frauds.

The irony of all of this is rich though. The OWS protesters and leaders are treating their kitchen staff worse than the billionaires they hate so much. The kitchen staff and OWS leaders don’t want to have to give their loot over to the “professional homeless” and “ex-cons” that want it. Isn’t that what they demand billionaires and wicked bankers do, ie: give up their loot to those who don’t have it? The hypocrisy is priceless.

OWS Descending Into Anti-Semetic Chaos

The Occupy Wall Street protests are descending into chaos, which is their goal. In Boston, Occupiers were arrested for selling heroin. In Oakland protesters clashed with police for no legitimate reason. As has been typical of leftists over the last century, they’re blaming the Jews for all the world’s problems. Anti-Semitism is showing its ugly head at OWS protests. SEIU’s Stephen Lerner talked about targeting banks, specifically Chase Bank, last spring. His plan is being implemented as Chase has been the target of protests from the OWS crowd.

Make no mistake, all of this is being planned. You can read the archives of this blog, it’s clear that the left was planning a massive astro-turf street movement. It’s clear they were going to target Wall Street and banks. Their goal is to create chaos so that middle class Americans will demand state action to stop it. The leftists of course will rise up and stop it and then move the nation further into European socialism. These people are seeking a new world order.

Make no mistake, this is worldwide. Doesn’t it strike you as odd that American leftists so strongly supported the Arab Spring uprisings? Isn’t it odd that George Soros funded groups like Code Pink would be so supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas? Isn’t it odd that radical Muslim group CAIR is protesting at the OWS protests in New York? This is a global movement being orchestrated by radical leftists. It’s being funded by billionaires like George Soros, who apparently is the good kind of Wall Street billionaire according to OWS leftists.

These people don’t seek freedom, they seek socialism. They want the government to pay for their student loans, Obama is more than happy to do so to buy their votes. They want government to guarantee what they call a living wage. Depending on who you talk to, that may mean $20/hour. Never mind of  course that at that wage millions will lose their jobs and prices will rise rendering the so-called living wage irrelevant. These leftists want socialist healthcare and massive government spending. They want higher taxes, as though taxing someone else will somehow make their own lives better.

What these people don’t want is personal responsibility. They don’t want freedom, they don’t want free enterprise. The kids protesting in the street are nothing more than useful idiots. They’re acting like fools thinking they’re doing something good for themselves and the country. In the end, they’re expendable stooges that the creators of OWS will cast aside when they have a chance to seize power. As an example of the left doing just this, Hitler gained power in Germany through his band of street thugs in the SA. Once he obtained power the SA was destroyed and its leaders murdered.

The problem the left is going to face is that the American public doesn’t usually flock to Democrats for law and order. Obama is already down in the polls, his support for a violent OWS movement isn’t going to be viewed favorable by voters. It surely wasn’t in 1968 or 1972 for the Democrats. It begs the question what the OWS leaders goals really are. Are they focusing on the 2012 election or is this a preview of the next four years as the radicals focus on 2016? Or do these people not care about elections at all? Or perhaps do they theorize that a complete global economic collapse will actually aid Obama’s re-election? It’s hard to say what goal they have in sight in the short run.

We do however know what their long run goals are. The radical left wants socialism. They want a top down economy run from Washington. They want socialist health care, free college education, extremely high taxes and a stifling business environment. They hate America and the freedom that the Constitution gives individuals. They seek an expansive Federal government and reduced personal freedom. You just have to listen to the leaders of these groups speak. It’s clear as day if you care to know the truth.

OWS Supports Violence, Confronted With Wealth Redistribution

The Occupy Wall Street protesters want to redistribute wealth from the rich to the so-called 99%. Interestingly they don’t take to kindly to thieves in their ranks who want to redistribute wealth within the protest community. Says one protester:

“Stealing is our biggest problem at the moment,” said Nan Terrie, 18, a kitchen and legal-team volunteer from Fort Lauderdale.

“I had my Mac stolen — that was like $5,500. Every night, something else is gone. Last night, our entire [kitchen] budget for the day was stolen, so the first thing I had to do was . . . get the message out to our supporters that we needed food!”

The poor dear doesn’t understand that within the protesters she’s the top 1%, what with her laptop and kitchen budget. That expensive laptop needed to be redistributed among the 99%.

The protesters whine that “crafty cat burglars” made off with $2,500 in cash from a kitchen (I wonder if it’s up to NYC’s tough code) while so-called volunteers slept. Once again, is this not the same redistribution of wealth that the protesters demand? What’s the difference between government confiscating money and a “crafty cat burglar?” These protesters are whining about the thefts but they don’t see the irony of their whining. It’s funny  how private property suddenly becomes important when the property is yours and not someone elses.

In other Occupy Wall Street news, a video of a protester screaming and yelling to the point of nearly crying on camera went viral last weekend. It turns out the little brat, who hates Wall Street so, is actually a Columbia Grad student named Edward T. Hall III. He is a trust fund baby. I wonder if the little fool with his Ivy League education understands that the people running his precious trust fund are associated with, if not in fact working directly on, Wall Street. It makes you wonder how many more of the Occupiers are trust fund babies. The crowd is lily white, full of kids dressed in hobo chic clothes from the Gap, Old Navy and other such places. The kids all seem to have expensive iphones and computers (see above story on thefts). These kids aren’t poor by any means, they’re just playing poor on tv.

While it’s fun to mock the trust fund protesters and the ironic redistribution of wealth among the protesters, there is some very disturbing polling coming out from the protests. A poll was done among the New York Protesters, which found that 31% believe in violence to further their agenda. Around 98% believe in civil disobedience. Only 15% of the protesters are unemployed, so they as a group really don’t represent the downtrodden at all. Around 52% have been involved in a political movement before, which backs up the notion that this is a planned and organized protest event.

The protesters aren’t run of the mill Americans protesting so-called wicked Wall Street. They’re subscribe to leftist viewpoints. Around 65% believe government should, no matter the cost, provide college education, healthcare and retirement for all. Interestingly for all of their attacks on banks, half of them support bank bailouts. This suggests that many of these people have no idea what they’re actually protesting. Many of the protests say they subscribe to left-wing policies but they don’t actually understand them. Free college education sounds great to a bunch of know nothing college students who don’t want to pay for school. But they don’t really understand what that means.

We should be greatly disturbed that 31% believe violence is acceptable to further their political outlook. This is, unfortunately, typical of the far left. It was unheard of for Tea Partiers to advocate violence, anyone who did would have been quickly chased away. At Occupy Wall Street, a third of them believe violence is acceptable. It’s fun to laugh at the trust fund babies and fools who confronted with what wealth redistribution really means when their Apple laptop is stolen. But at the end of the day, we can’t forget that this is a potentially violent group of radical leftists, some of whom don’t even understand what they’re fighting for. We also can’t forget that Obama supports them.

Obama Gets Behind Grotesque Occupiers

President Obama is embracing the Occupy Wall Street protests. He’s started using the term 99%, alleging that the grotesque occupiers represent 99% of the country. There are very clear connections between Obama and the leaders of these protests, from Van Jones and George Soros to Stephen Lerner and other union bosses. The mainstream press, even Fox News, refuse to acknowledge the connections. Now that the President is using the occupiers terms, it’s very clear that Obama is embracing them. He’s also trying to set up the 2012 election debate as Wall Street vs 99%.

Of course for Obama to get away with this he’ll need an ignorant public and a willing press. Let’s not forget that, according to Open Secrets, in 2008 Obama took in $15.8 million from Wall Street. McCain only too in $9.2 million. Wall Street wrote and lobbied for the Dodd-Frank financial reform package. We’ll also have to ignore the fact that Obama has spent the past several months touring the country going from one $30,000 a plate fundraiser to the next. Last I checked the 99% down at the Occupy protests couldn’t afford toilet paper much less a $30,000 rubber chicken dinner with the President.

Obama is desperate to cling to his power, this has become clear over the past few days. He’s in the 2012 election to win. In order to win he’s going to try to divide the country on class lines. He’s going to use Wall Street, from whom he accepted $15.8 million in donations in 2008, as his straw man to create class warfare. This isn’t the uniter he claimed to be in 2008, he’s little more than a community organizing rabble rouser who is hell bent on dividing the nation.

Whether the White House is actively involved in the Occupy protests remains to be seen. The connections are clear. It’s also clear that the people and organizations staging these events are very much supportive of Obama’s socialist agenda. The protesters themselves have little idea why they’re there, as evidenced by the fact that none of them seem to be able to explain what the point of the occupation is. They’re nothing more than useful idiots.

Wall Street is easy to hate when you’re jealous of other’s riches. But if these people were so opposed to Wall Street where were they when the financial meltdown began in 2008? Where were they in 2009 and 2010 when stock market was all over the place? Where were they when Dodd-Frank was being debated? We’re supposed to believe these people got outraged in the middle of September and felt the need to occupy and destroy a park in lower Manhattan without any organization or any connection to the White House? Give me a break.

The occupy protests began a few weeks after Obama’s jobs speech. They were planned for the last year and a half. They were originally planned for last May and were pushed back to September, likely to coordinate with the White House. This whole thing is being organized by a group of socialists and marxists who are using these moronic college students to push an agenda they don’t even understand. In fact, most of the people down there don’t even know why they’re there. And Obama is supporting them, using the term 99%. There is absolutely a connection.

In the end we have a choice in 2012. The choice is between big government and small government. Obama is attempting to set the debate as Wall Street against the 99%. He’s using the Occupy protests to do this and the media is going right along with it. Have you noticed all the positive stories about these protests, nearly one a night on every channel. The Tea Party had 9 stories during the entire year in 2009, all of them negative. So the media is completely on board with Obama and the Occupiers. We conservatives have to get the message out on our own that the choice isn’t between Wall Street and everyone else. The choice is between Obama’s big government socialism and freedom.

Democrats Will Regret Hopping Into Bed With Radical Occupiers

The Occupy Wall Street people claim to represent the 99% of us who aren’t extremely wealthy. Based on the filthy conditions these people willingly live in, their bizarre array of tattoos and their incoherent rantings, I dare say they don’t represent many Americans. Van Jones declared these are the best people in the country who are providing “moral clarity” for the rest of us. It’s a shame their morality is steeped in jealousy and laziness. They seem terribly jealous that other people have money and they seem to be camping out for days and weeks on end which suggests they aren’t much interested in work.

The crazy leftists are really coming out of the woodwork, as evidence by an Ann Horowitz documentary. Out in LA, the occupiers have declared that violent revolution is necessary. The French Revolution, which descended into murderous chaos very quickly is held up as a great example of revolutionary change. Meanwhile Ghandi is attacked as little more than a tool of socialism’s enemies. Not to be out done, some protesters are embracing Chairman Mao. We’re supposed to ignore the fact that he killed 60 million people. Apparently some people are going to die in the revolution. One protester notes that dying is a part of life and if you’re killed, oh well.

President Obama has any number of connections to those who are actually organizing these protests. Van Jones, George Soros and his organizations and the unions are all in bed with the Obama administration. But the Democrats seem to be caught off guard by all of these protests, although Obama is not. (we’ll get to that later) Initially most of the Democrats were reluctant to get behind the protests, likely because they sense an impending Republican victory and they would prefer to save their own jobs. Late last week suddenly most of the Dems were all on board.

Why were the Dems so late to the party? The Democrats are watching their own base take to the streets without them. It’s as though they’re watching their own base start a movement without them and they’re having a ‘me too’ moment. The Republicans had the same thing happen in 2009. The difference is that the Tea Party was always more mainstream than the media gave them credit for. Most Republicans and Americans agree with the Tea Party about fiscal spending. The Tea Party rallies were never violent and they were never full of weirdos. By getting on board with the Occupy protesters, the Democrats are getting in bed with people who freak most Americans out. In the end, the Occupy protesters will do the same thing they did for the Democrats when they protested in 1968. They set up a Republican victory and Republican domination for several decades.

Why isn’t Obama concerned about any of this? We can’t forget that Obama comes from this movement and he believes in their vision of history and the future. He believes in their end game. He probably believes that the Occupy protesters are taking the focus off of DC and placing it on Wall Street. As such, going into 2012 he believes Americans will be focused on wicked bankers as opposed to his failed policies.

If this is the President’s thinking he’s sadly mistaken. Obama had two years of Democrat super majorities and all he came up with was Dodd-Frank which resulted in the unintended consequence of forcing banks to charge fees for debit card usage. He’s done nothing else. While the Occupiers note this, they aren’t going to stop supporting Obama over it. The rest of the public knows the bill was terrible and hasn’t done much of anything. The public also notes the 9.1% unemployment rate, over $4 trillion in new debt in just three years, Solyndra and the general failure of Obama’s top down economic approach.

In short, if the President believes a bunch of smelly hippies, perverts, communists and weirdos “occupying” Wall Street is going to focus the attention away from him in 2012, he’s out of his mind. The Democrats are jumping into bed with a ticking time bomb and they’re going to wake up on November 7th, 2012 and wonder what happened.

Rage-Aholic Leftist Protests Won’t Gain Traction

The rage-aholic leftist “occupy” Wall Street protests are little more than a highly organized Astroturf effort of unions such as SEIU and Marxists such as Van Jones. These protests aren’t an organic uprising seeking to confront current issues. Instead, they have been organized months and years in advance as evidenced by this video. The upper middle class white college kids, who I mockingly called hobo chic yesterday, are just useful idiots who have been worked into a frenzy over essentially nothing. I’m sure most of them will be asking their parents to send them pizza money for their weekend of speaking “truth” to essentially no one in power.

The question here is whether or not these protests will have any traction for the left. It’s clear that Obama is part of this, he specifically singled out and attacked banks in his campaign presser yesterday. Banks are of course the target of these protests. Nearly every group involved in these protests has a direct connection to Obama. SEIU, Van Jones, Students for a Democratic Society, Moveon.org, Tides Foundation etc. All of them have direct connections with Obama and he has passively supported the Occupy Wall Street movement.

While Obama is involved, however passively, it isn’t going to gain traction for the left. We’ve already had massive left-wing protests this  year and it’s done nothing for the leftist movement. The protests in Wisconsin following Gov. Scott Walker’s decision to limit government employee union’s power provided no traction for leftists or Democrats. The Wisconsin protests were more organic, meaning they were more spontaneous and less organized than the Occupy Wall Street protests. They also had a direct enemy, Scott Walker is a Republican and the Wisconsin Legislature is controlled by Republicans.

In the end the leftists lost in Wisconsin. They didn’t defeat the bill and they were unsuccessful at recalling Republican legislators. Their movement fizzled out and ultimately public support for the unions fizzled as well. The current protests are highly organized, they’ve been planned for months and years. But their guy is in the White House and their party controls half of Congress. So why are they going to attack? House Republicans who have been in power for 9 months?

In the end, the Days of Rage, Occupy Wall Street protests will not gain traction for the left. They’ll fizzle out as the temperature drops and they’ll be forgotten about by the end of November. Americans are already turned off to the violent nature of these rallies, with hundreds having been arrested already. The term ‘occupy’ itself is going to turn off many middle of the road Americans who still have respect for law and order. The fact that many of these protesters don’t even know what they’re protesting or what their goals are makes it awful hard for people to want to jump on board.

In the end it’s difficult, if not impossible, to have a successful protest movement when your guy is sitting in the White House. Wisconsin had a shot at gaining traction because it was focused on an opposition Governor. Wisconsin fizzled for the left. There’s no reason to believe the Van Jones, SEIU, astro-turf rage-aholic Wall Street occupiers won’t fizzle out as well. At the end of the day, the American public isn’t going to get on board with a group whose goals are nebulous and whose tactics are destructive and violent.

Hobo Chic Wall Street Protesters Amusing Tools Of Radical Leftists

I’ve been watching the “occupy” Wall Street protests with both concern and amusement. These protests are not spontaneous like the Tea Party, they’re highly organized by leftist groups funded by George Soros. If one cared to pay attention, the extreme left has been talking about these protests for months. They didn’t just magically happen. Stephen Lerner, Van Jones, Richard Trumka, Francis Fox Piven and other leftists have been talking about creating protests to rival the Arab Spring since March. These are not organic protests born out of actual frustration and anger, they’re manufactured.

The leftist goals are certainly concerning. These people want to bring down Capitalism, they want to destroy the finances of this country. One portion of this group wants to bring down the New York Stock Exchange next Monday. Stephen Lerner and company are quite up front about supporting economic terrorism. Surely their goals are concerning as well, they seek socialism. They seek to destroy the successful. Worse, they want to prevent the successful from earning a better life for themselves. This should be the most concerning part of these rallies for those who love freedom and believe in hard work.

Have you noticed something about the Occupy Wall Street, Days of Rage protesters? They all look like white, upper middle class college students. They’re all worked up into a frenzy by their moronic professors or by street agitators because they imagine there won’t be any jobs for them when they graduate. They’re all dressed hobo chic, their outfits are all very well coordinated to look like a hobo. It’s as though one of those tv fashion designers has put out a hobo line. Yet each of these hobo chic college students can be seen playing around with their capitalist i-phone or other internet gizmo. They all look well fed. They’re all sleeping in capitalist sleeping bags. The hobo chic upper middle class college kids are really representing “the people” with their i-phones, full bellies and designer chic clothing.

Meanwhile their list of demands is ridiculous. They want to have everything without working for it. They want college education to be “free” so that they can waste their time on someone else’s dime. They want all debt forgiven, meaning that no one has to work for anything that they have. They want socialist healthcare and inflated salaries via a $20 minimum wage. They want trillions spent on infrastructure and forests. They want no border. These hobo chic brats playing protest down on Wall Street obviously never learned anything about economics in college. If these people knew anything about economics, they would understand that their proposals are untenable.

These hobo chic kids are nothing but useful idiots, tools of the radical left who are using them to obtain power for themselves. These fools are motivated by laziness and boredom. Their parents probably didn’t spank them enough as children and probably gave them everything they wanted. Now that they’re adults they don’t want to work for anything themselves and want to be handed everything like children. About half of them will come to their senses in a couple years when they graduate and stop smoking pot. The other half will forever expect someone else to pay their way.

The problem though is that they’re being used by people like Van Jones and Stephen Lerner for their own purposes. The leaders seek economic terrorism. They seek to fundamentally change America into a socialist, if not communist nation. The hobo chic morons chanting incoherently in the streets are nothing but tools. They don’t even understand what they’re protesting. While their comments are usually amusing and their coordinated, just so hobo chic outfits with i-phone accessories are amusing, the goals of the leaders are dangerous. Make no mistake, this isn’t an organic protest. It is highly organized with specific, dangerous goals.

Democrats To Blame For Bank of America Debit Fees

Late last week Bank of America announced that they would be charging $5 per month for debit card users who use their cards to make purchases. This prompted Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin to urge a run on Bank of America. At first glance the action by Bank of America looks outrageous. But you have to do more than scratch the surface of this story. It is in fact Dick Durbin, Democrat Senator, who is partially to thank for the new bank fee.

Last year the Democrats passed a bill that limits the ability of debit card companies to charge swipe fees. Each time you use your debit card or credit card the merchant is charged a swipe fee, for credit cards it’s around 2-3%. Debit cards have always had different fees than credit cards, often a flat fee of around 44 cents per swipe. Durbin’s law reduced swipe fees to 24 cents per swipe, a nearly 50% reduction. That has left issuers of debit cards looking for ways to make up the government ordered lost revenue.

It was entirely predictable that Bank of America would start charging debit card users for using their debit card. The Federal government has more or less shifted the cost of debit cards from merchants to banks with the banks shifting the cost to consumers. In the end consumers are paying more for products and services because of government. Government lowered the cost of swipe fees for merchants but the merchants never passed the savings onto customers. Now consumers are paying for essentially the same swipe fee plus they’re going to pay for the revenue their bank lost because of government action.

It isn’t popular to defend banks but in this case it is absolutely necessary. They’re only charging their debit card customers because government cut their debt card revenue in half. It isn’t cheap to offer debit cards, there is internal infrastructure needed to offer these cards. They’re a convenience for customers and they do cost something. Bank of America needs to make sure their accounts can be accused by merchants, they need to produce cards and make sure they get to the right people and there are hundreds if not thousands of support staff necessary for a major bank like Bank of America to offer debit cards. If they can’t charge merchants for the convenience of not having to take cash, they’re either going to pass the cost onto their own customers or they’re not going to offer debit cards.

This situation is the classic government debacle when they enter into the marketplace to support a politically connected group over a politically hated group. Government didn’t foresee or didn’t care about the consequences of their actions. Most people in Congress never bothered to consider that banks might pass costs onto their customers when revenue was taken away from them by government order. Those that did consider that possibility likely didn’t care because they hate banks in the first place and they knew they would be able to raise a stink about new fees in order to attack banks. As far as the Dick Durbin’s of Congress were concerned, forcing banks to raise fees on their customers gave them another stick with which to beat down the banks and score cheap political points.

If you’re a Bank of America customer when they charge you a fee for using your debit card remember that it is Democrats in Congress who are responsible. They forced your bank’s hand. If you think that getting out of Bank of America will save you from this fee, think again. Within a year all the banks will have this fee. Other banks may not have the fee now but after the Bank of America firestorm fades into the forgotten past (around next week) they’ll create the fee themselves. It will all be because of Democrats in Congress, you’ll have them to thank for the fees.
