War On Women: Obama Thinks Women Are Fools

The Obama campaign recently declared that women don’t care about the last four years. It seems Obama’s folks believe the only issues women are interested in are abortion and contraception. The contraception issue is of particular concern to women according to Obama’s minions. That’s because Mitt Romney plans on banning all contraception. Except that he’s never said such a thing and no one has suggested such a thing in half a century. Contraception is a made up nonsense issue, likely created because Romney is so weak on the pro-life issue. That said, aren’t women just a touch insulted by the idea that they’re only interested in abortion and contraception?

No one has been negatively affected by the Obama recession more than women. The unemployment rate is 8.1% but the real unemployment rate, which includes people who have given up and the underemployed, is over 14%. Family income had dropped nearly $4,000 during the Obama years to around $50,000. Apparently Obama’s campaign doesn’t think women are interested in the loss of their job or their husband’s job. They must not think women are concerned about the loss of income during the last four years.

Women do a disproportionate amount of family grocery shopping. Prices on milk, meat and vegetables have increased over the last four years. Inflation from the Fed’s QE1 and QE2 are partially to blame. So are the high gas prices which haven’t been helped by Obama’s wasteful green energy programs and his refusal to allow more oil drilling or the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Team Obama doesn’t think women care about whether they can afford to put a decent dinner on the table, they’re only interested in birth control pills that are readily available at nearly every supermarket in the country.

Women must also not be interested in the least about their kids future. Obama has added over $5 trillion in new debt over the last four years. Each year he has been in office has featured a budget deficit of over $1 trillion. In three years, Obama has created more debt that George W. Bush did in eight. Bush himself was a problem spender who created far to much debt, Obama is twice as bad. Women must not be interested in the debt they’ll leave to their children, born or otherwise. Women must not care very much about the fact that our nation has a $16 trillion deficit and at the rate Obama is going we’ll have a $20 trillion deficit by 2016. No, they’re worried about forcing religious institutions to pay for birth control.

The Obama campaign assumes women are a monolithic group that only cares about issues relating to their reproductive organs. Such a position is insulting to women on a number of levels. Half of women are pro-life, so they’re not even interested in supporting Obama’s kill the baby at any point position.  On the contraception issue, we have yet to discover a single woman who was incapable of buying birth control pills from the Wal-Mart for $5 themselves because the Roman Catholic Church refused to pay for them. In other words, the fact that religious organizations have refused to cover contraception doesn’t mean women didn’t have access to contraception. Surely women are bright enough to figure that out.

Obama and the Democrats take women for granted. They believe women are dumb, that they’re only interested in two issues. They pay lip service to equality but their actions suggest they think women are a bunch of idiots who aren’t smart enough to notice how much the Obama economy has hurt them. Women aren’t this stupid though, they can see that the Obama economic plan has failed. They see it in their unemployed husbands and friends, they see it in their own difficulties obtaining and keeping a job. They see it in the grocery store and in their checking account. Obama has failed women, he’s failed all of us.
